It is quick to charge and has a long battery life as I have yet to charge it for a second time. The self sharpening blades mean that you get exceptional results every time and the cutting height is adjusted with the built-in rotary twist control. The accessories are very easy to change and this model comes with a handy bag that keeps everything together.

Great Cut and Premium Feel

Battery life seems good, not needed to charge yet. Built in hair collector is a really handy feature, however could be easier to empty.

Brilliant Beard Trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Beard Trimmer really is one of the best for styling and shaping. It’s smooth, doesn’t pull (like some cheaper alternatives” and has enough weight to be controlled. The packaging is stylish, and the carry-bag useful. It’s comes with a USB charger rather than shaver, again, something useful for looking good on the go. The only slight drawback of the product is - it can be clunky to change the heads quickly, they sometimes get stuck or unable to easily be removed - this isn’t a big drawback, but overtime. I’m hoping these loosen up and become a bit easier to attach.

Well made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This handsome trimmer comes with a bag full of accessories and a charging stand. There is no wall plug included, so if you want to keep it in the bathroom, you need to buy Phillips' USB adaptor. Although the charging stand uses USBC, the shaver does not, so if travelling, you must take the stand with you. First impressions are good, with the shaver being good to look at and fitting well in the hand. Although the materials used are all solid, and should last well, the top part is not rubberised, so grip can suffer a little because of this. The combs are also pretty plasticky, and the one I use for my beard extends over the outside edges of the trimmer blades, so it's not as accurate as I would like. The controls are simple, with one button to turn on and off, and a wheel to select the length. Both work well. The performance of the motor is less good, being a big step down from the power of the Philips 9000 series. I find compared to that shaver, I have to go over areas almost twice as much to ensure all the hairs are cut. At the time of review, that shaver is only 10% more expensive than this one. One feature I was looking forward to was the hair catcher, and in many ways it does work well. Initially I was a little upset that to remove it, you need to first remove the length comb, but I quickly realised that since the whole shaver is waterproof, you can rinse it out easily. It most definitely makes less mess than other shavers, though some cleanup is still needed. Overall, this is a capable shaver with some decent features. My only major complaint is the motor's performance, and given that the 9000 series is only 10% more expensive, it is a tough call as to which I would recommend.

Perfect trim

When I first started using it, I’ll admit I found it quite difficult to navigate the different length settings. There are multiple options and attachments, and it took a bit of trial and error to figure out which setting gave me the exact beard length I was aiming for. At the beginning, this was slightly frustrating as I couldn’t immediately get a consistent result. However, once I spent some time experimenting and understanding the core settings that work best for me, everything became much easier. Now that I’ve found the right length and know how to adjust it properly, the trimmer delivers a really clean, even finish. The build quality feels solid, it’s comfortable to hold, and the results are sharp and professional-looking. Now that I’m familiar with how it works, I’m very happy with the results and will definitely continue to use it as part of my regular grooming routine.

The best shaver I’ve ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tested the Philips BeardTrimmer Series 7000 (BT7665/15) and I’m over the moon with how precisely the beard trimmer head adapts to every position. The hair collector is a killer addition, the variety of heads is a great bonus. The Beard trimmer has a long runtime with of up to 2 hours. Even charging is very easy with the charging station and the USB-A cable, makes charging easier than competing products. All in all this beard trimmer for me is the best I’ve ever owned and is the GOLD standard of shavers. I highly recommend the Philips BeardTrimmer Series 7000 (BT7665/15), it’s simply the best shaver in the world. Highly recommended.

Comfortable shave but struggles with detail

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whilst it provides a very comfortable shave for parts of the face it is a bit too chunky when shaving around the mouth/under the nose. My previous phillips beard trimmer is better for the more detailed areas around the mouth and nose. The hair catcher is a good idea and I would say it probably collects 50/60% of the hair trimmings.
