This is a very pretty watch. I chose it because I had a Sekonda watch before, which was a sturdy, reliable watch. The only negative point is that the hands on this watch are the same colour as the face, so if in poor light, it becomes difficult to read the time.

Having checked to see, this is not suitable for swimming. It is OK for for normal everyday use and will resist exposure to splashes and rain, as you'd expect to get on occasion, but not to being submerged.

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know there may be some nickel present - if so it will be less than 0.88 which meets the standard BS EN 1811:2011
