Sturdy, good reach, and effective window cleaning kit praised for ease of use and value. Some issues with pole locking and durability reported, but overall well-liked for cleaning high and hard-to-reach windows.

Very good product. Very sturdy pole Good value for money

Poor does not lock
Waste of money. Not sure if I received an absolute faulty item but the pole would not lock. Yes, we read the instructions but with several attempts by myself and others, the pole would not secure, making any attempt to wash windows super frustrating with the pole and sponge spinning. Very disappointing.

A good all round window cleaning tool
I bought this a month ago as our windows needed a thorough clean. It's a good price of kit for the price especially with reaching the first floor windows. Only downside would be the fitting between the cleaning end and handle could be more sturdy but no major problem

Good but not strong enough
It does what it is designed to do, but when using at reach you need to apply some pressure and the pole is not upto it and after 1 use has bent. Still usable, but wont slide inside the other sections now. Needs a redesign

Easy to use
This is the first time in years I've had non smear windows. This device is brilliant. Easy to use and makes window cleaning less of a chore. Wish I had bought this years ago.

Hello Dustyboy,
The Home Window Cleaning Set will drip water when in use.
Thank you for using Q and A.
Hello Vix.
Argos Home Window Cleaning Set:
You could potentially use for light to moderate cleaning (e.g: removing dust, cobwebs, or light dirt) However, the set is primarily designed for windows, so it may not be as effective for tougher outdoor grime or textured surfaces.
You might need a stronger cleaning solution or a stiffer brush attachment (not included) for more stubborn dirt.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Paula,
The supplier has advised the following on the Home Window Cleaning Set:
“ The pole can be extended to 3.2m. ”
This would also depend on the angle as well as a more extreme angle for the top of the roof might require you to rise you height to be able to reach it.
Thanks for using Q&A.
