Altogether, a good purchase at a great price.
The poor weather of late has put me off rushing to clean my windows but this device looks to be just the ticket for easy and effective window cleaning. It's a robust piece of kit and has a very long reach - ideal for the higher-than-usual windows of my 1900s home. I spotted it on HUK deals at half price so it was a no-brainer to get onto the Argos website and order one. Very pleased with it.

Telescopic pole not very good
The sponge & wiper blade are good, but the telescopic pole seized up after the first time it was used. It won’t close down & is very inconvenient for storage.

You could potentially use for light to moderate cleaning (e.g: removing dust, cobwebs, or light dirt) However, the set is primarily designed for windows, so it may not be as effective for tougher outdoor grime or textured surfaces.
You might need a stronger cleaning solution or a stiffer brush attachment (not included) for more stubborn dirt.

The supplier has advised the following on the Home Window Cleaning Set:
“ The pole can be extended to 3.2m. ”
This would also depend on the angle as well as a more extreme angle for the top of the roof might require you to rise you height to be able to reach it.
