Clean windows at last!
Now the seagulls have fledged, I felt able to attempt the cleaning of the upstairs windows under the flat roof. This worked much better than I anticipated at this price point. The head needs a good soak first, before adding any foaming medium, rather than making the soapy water in a bucket as I would for ground floor windows. At full extension, the pole is a little unwieldy, but I soon got the knack. Whilst I wouldn't claim the windows are streak-free, they're a lot better than they were.

Excellent quality and extension
A great quality product with excellent extension for cleaning my windows and pergolas. Good squeegee This is my second purchase of this as first was a gift and so good I needed one

Great piece of kit!
On offer for less than £12 I bought one to reach some Velux windows. Fantastic bit of kit, the poles locked well, the wash pad was thick, held water well and easy to remove for cleaning. The wiper blade was strong and worked a treat, overall a great piece of kit!

Argos Home Window Cleaning Set
I was sceptical about this but it really does reach the top window. Really good value for money. Washing is easy but I have to get used to the wipe still as that's harder to handle. I highly recommend this, you can save so much money by doing it yourself.

You could potentially use for light to moderate cleaning (e.g: removing dust, cobwebs, or light dirt) However, the set is primarily designed for windows, so it may not be as effective for tougher outdoor grime or textured surfaces.
You might need a stronger cleaning solution or a stiffer brush attachment (not included) for more stubborn dirt.

The supplier has advised the following on the Home Window Cleaning Set:
“ The pole can be extended to 3.2m. ”
This would also depend on the angle as well as a more extreme angle for the top of the roof might require you to rise you height to be able to reach it.
