This mop works well
I have used this mop a couple of times and it works well,the fine mist is just about right not wetting the floor too much but enough to clean it. As for how long it will last the only doubt I have is if the handle tank is steel this may rust,if it was emptied after each use it might make a difference but would still be wet inside. This is a long-term thing that may not turn out to be a problem.

Vileda spray mop
I am so disappointed with this vileda spray mop, I filled it up, and nothing, no spray whatsoever, £25 wasted I’ve had much cheaper spray mops than this and they’ve lasted years. I don’t think I’ll even get my money back as I was so convinced it would work I threw the packaging away.

Great for real wooden floors
I bought this to replace my old Vileda spray mop. Whilst the old one only lasted 2 years (the handle mechanism just stopped working), it was great to use on our oak wooden floors that can not be mopped. The replacement heads can be chucked into the washing machine and have held up well to repeat use. I notice cheaper versions of spray mops are not machine washable. So I’m pleased to have another vileda - just hope the handle lasts longer this time!

A must have mop
We love this mop. It was actually a replacement for our old one that sadly broke. But we had it for over 7 years before it broke. This is such a fantastic mop. The swivel head is fantastic for getting into all the wee nooks and crannies of our home and because it tilts, we manage to clean the skirting boards whilst doing the floor too. The spray part is great, it squirts out a fine even mist over the floor. And the removable mop head cleans so beautifully. It's so easy to remove and clean. Can't say enough good things about this mop. It's well worth the money.

Vileda 1-2 Spray Mop 855/1159 This spray mop should be ok to use on luxury vinyl tiles. We would always advise all customers to check the care and maintenance details of the items/surfaces they are looking to use items on/with, and maybe do a test sample.

No. It doesnt leak if swivelled on the floor. But will leak if you turn it upside down for the ceilings...

When using the Vileda 1-2 Spray Mop, you don’t need to rinse the mop head as you clean the floor. Instead, you can spray the cleaning solution or water directly onto the floor and mop it up with the microfiber mop head. The microfiber mop head can absorb the dirt and dust particles from the floor and trap them inside the fibers. This means that you can clean the floor effectively without the need for rinsing the mop head.

The Microfibre Mop Pad, on the Vileda 1-2 Spray Mop:
This can be removed to allow natural drying. It can also be put in the washing machine to clean it.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Vileda 1-2 Spray Mop: The refill can be washed upto 60 degrees C, do not use fabric softener or tumble dry.
