Looks great from every angle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted a TV for our spare bedroom, but because you see the side of it as soon as you walk into the room, we wanted something that looked good from every angle. This TV does. There’s no ugly metal backing and the casing curves neatly around the back, so it looks much more finished than most TVs. The picture is super bright and crisp, and the colours really pop without looking unnatural. It was also very easy to set up. You just scan a QR code and complete most of the setup from your phone. It’s surprisingly fast too. Opening apps, switching between them and watching Freely all feel quick and responsive, with very little waiting around. I also really like the white design. It looks a bit different and fits nicely in our bedroom, rather than looking like a large black screen when it’s turned off. The sound is perfectly good for everyday viewing, and there are plenty of settings available if you want to adjust it. Overall, it feels like a very good TV for the price. It looks different while still blending into the room, it’s easy to use, and the picture quality is even better than I expected.

Something a little bit different
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is sleek and futuristic looking with its white, curved built in stand so you need to be sure you not looking to mount this TV to a wall, because that isn't possible. I was also surprised by how lightweight it is! It looks as though it would be heavy, but it's a doddle to move around. It connects to WiFi and has 'Freely' as standard, which provides live TV channels as well as the usual streaming, on-demand and catch-up services you'd expect. Its 4K Hi-QLED screen means the colours are vibrant and the picture is crisp and clear, which is exactly what you would expect from a Hisense TV. It's unique in that it displays artwork when it's idle - you can choose from your own photos, or the provided artwork (some of which you have to pay for). Unfortunately, it does mean that this TV isn't particularly energy efficient. I wouldn't say it's suitable for serious gamers, but is perfect if you're maybe a casual gamer or just planning to use it purely to watch TV. All in all, it' s a pretty decent buy if you're after something a little different to jazz up your TV-watching space. Not too expensive, but definitely eye-catching.

My initial experience with a Hisense 43S5QTUK
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed this TV in our bedroom. Easy and intuitive instructions to install. Picture quality is excellent bu I did have to dial down the colour intensity as it was a tad too vibrant and bright. Sound took slightly longer to get to an acceptable solution. I found the Dolby Atmos bounced off the bedroom walls and caused "echo rebound". I switched that function off and the stereo sound was perfectly fine for the bedroom. Dolby Atmos would probably suit a larger room. There are so many functions that I have not used yet and will update at a later date when I've had a chance to figure them out.
