Very robust, but huge
I bought this going pond dipping with my grandson age 8, along with a smaller net. We opened it at the lake and it was then too late to return it. It was way too big for him to manage, I ended up using it, but it was really too big for me. Live and learn, I would suggest not for children. Would recommend for adults

Twist the locking nut slightly and then extend it to the length you want then tighten the locking nut again.

As Barbel can grow as large as 200cm+ it may not be suitable for the larger specimens..
