Almost a 5 star….
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review is of the 50” 50E6STUK model. My initial impression of the tv was very good. It’s about 5 years since I last bought a tv and for the size, I found this model very lightweight when I lifted it so I figured set up would be straightforward myself - and it was, up to a point. The stands screwed on ok, though still felt a slightly wobbly when I tightened them, and then I discovered they were too wide for the unit the previous 32” had come off of. I suspect this is common to other manufacturers, not just Hisense but the measurement of the stands from the edge of the tv would be a useful inclusion in the instruction book. I got round the problem by buying another stand which fits in the middle and this worked fine. The power cable comes separate from the tv and during set up, was prone to coming out on a couple of occasions but has been stable since. I’ve plugged an aerial into the tv and so have the choice of freeview or streaming. Set up on the tv itself was very straightforward and in terms of using the remote and navigating through the apps, I’ve found this fairly intuitive and easy. I’m not a gamer so can’t comment on that aspect but in terms of watching live tv or apps such as i-player, the picture quality and sound is excellent. All in all, this would have been a 5 star, had the design features not slightly let it down but it’s still excellent value for money.

Grew on me with time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my new Hisense TV for three weeks now and my opinion has improved over time. When the TV arrived I was very impressed with how light and easy it was to move. I was very impressed by the thin screen with the very narrow frame suround which gives you optimal viewing. I was a little disapointed where the legs for the stands are as would of preferred them to be closer together as the TV only just fit on my corner TV unit. It was time to upgrade that to so it was a perfect excuse to get a new one and it sets of my new TV perfectly. It would be a good option to have a choice maybe of where you can place these to accomodate different sizes of TV units for a better fit. One thing I was highly impressed with is the sound quality, it is so much better and clearer all around with talking and music alike. I still have'nt managed to adjust all the settings for the picture quality yet as there are so many so this is work in progress. I love the fact that Freely is included with the TV and the choice of streaming service's and apps are fabulous. To sum up I am very happy with my new TV

Great picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After giving my TV a good few days of use I want to share what has impressed me and also the bad bits too! The tv is pleasantly light in weight which is really useful for someone who has health conditions and struggles with heavy things. It came supplied with the feet for ease of use. The picture is extremely clear and has a great game mode for the gamers, colours are vibrant which enhances the overall experience, it is very quick to respond and has a nice easy simple set up altho I can’t say this would be the case for someone elderly that does not understand qr codes or have the tech required to complete set up by themselves. I really love that the tv came with a separate kids remote, this will help make little people feel included/in charge of their own tv experience while parents can feel confident. The regular remote I felt was a bit on the long side however the buttons are placed nicely and you have fast access to the popular apps at the click of a button. The tv has an ample amount of outputs e.g HDMI etc if needed altho I wonder if more could be added. The bad bits are something that could be improved. I found the speakers were not really on par with the picture quality, the sound is good but it could be better. There wasn’t a wall bracket which limits how you display your tv, I feel this should be included on the more bigger models rather than an extra optional. The build of the tv could be improved, I found gaps at the bottom (included in pics) where the plastics are not as flush as they could be which is disappointing. Batteries were provided for the remote but sadly not for the kids remote which I would have expected to be standard. The length of the power cable could definitely do with being longer so there are no restrictions for placement of tv. Overall I am very happy, love the clear bright picture display and cannot wait to have a good film night with friends!
