About this product
The Canon PIXMA G650 is built for printing large volumes of high-quality photos up to A4 without constantly worrying about ink running out. You get six refillable dye-based ink tanks including red and grey for enhanced colour gamut, which means more vibrant and true-to-life photo prints with professional depth. One set of bottles prints around 3,800 4x6 photos, so you're spending less time on refills and more time printing. The non-squeeze bottles make refilling error-free and mess-free, which matters when you just want things to work.
Wireless connectivity lets you print directly from your phone or tablet using the Canon PRINT app or Apple AirPrint, so you're not tethered to your computer. It prints at 3.9ppm for both colour and black text, handles borderless printing beautifully, and the 100-sheet paper capacity is generous enough for most sessions. The flatbed scanner adds copying and scanning functionality when you need it. You can replace the print head and maintenance cartridge yourself, which reduces downtime and keeps costs sensible over time.

Quality photos printer
For the price this is a great product for producing excellent quality photos up to and including A4. The menu set up is a bit confusing but other than that it a good all round product that excels at producing quality photos. The larger capacity ink storage is a great improvement and goes a long way to remove the problem of constantly having to replace ink cartridges at an exorbitant price. Recommended especially for small scale photo production. Wireless operation is also a boon.

Great value document and photo printer
I bought this printer when there is a double cash back promotion. I have to say the print speed is much faster than my previous canon printer from 2012. It connect with my iPhone so I can printer directly. Printer seem to have a great print capacity . Going to try printing pictures on this machine.

The Cannon printer does all i expected it to do, having been another printer deciple it is now very clear Cannon have put a lot of thought into the design and functionality and therefore making it a serious competitor to the other manufacturers.

Easy to use, and versatile ,especially via the phone app. Superb quality photo printing,which was the main reason I bought it. A4 pages in black and white or colour very crisp. Very economical on inks. An excellent machine.

Not a bad printer so far.
It all came together eventually, i am no comouter buff, but it we t pretty well, i wont say without a hit h be ause i had a few, but all good now. I have only used it so far for eeryday printing no photos as yet and it seems to do well ... if slow, but i want some nice photos from it, so that is to be expected and i don't mind, but if you are after a fast printer give this one a go by. Seems well built, not too noisy, little on the larger side, but fits where i need it too. Much prefer a bottom feed but thats neither here nor there, overall i would recommend it and i hope it lasts a bit longer than my other Canon £250 purchase which lasted 13 months and then clapped out, i didn't even get the chance to refill the inks and i still have six brand new bottes.

Our supplier has advised that the Canon PIXMA G650 Wireless Inkjet Photo Printer is a photo printer but can print documents but is aimed towards someone who wants to print a lot of photos at a very high quality with a great range of colour. If the software has a print button then it will work.
