A great purchase I don’t regret buying
I bought this last month and I am in love with it it works perfectly well and matches with my toaster.

Poor design
Dreadful design. Lid has to be physically removed, in order to fill the kettle. When removed, the fingers are invariably "scaled", if the kettles already been boiled. The lid is fitted with spring loaded "tabs", have found it necessary to initially cut the tabs off, have found it more effective to superglue the tabs in. Even as an individual with excellent levels of grip, the lid is otherwise difficult to remove. The kettle has no "light" when on, so easy to fail to switch it on, not realising until it's failed to boild. The one switch itself, is small and requires some dextrixity to use

Fine but fiddly lid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited for this kettle as my old one had just died. It's a good basic kettle if you aren't picky and are just after an affordable product that works. However, some issues with the kettle make it so that I probably would not purchase this model again. Firstly, it stains really easily. I've attached a photo of how stained the outside looks and this is just from using it twice a day for about a month. Although this is easy to fix by using a microfiber cloth on it so not such a big deal. The lid, however, is more the issue for me. It is just a plastic lid that kind of latches into the top. There is no button to push or mechanism to release so it actually is quite fiddly to open the kettle to refill it. I find I have to use both my hands sometimes especially if it's wet and my hands are quite strong from climbing. I think someone with smaller/weaker hands or any type of gripping or joint issues wouldn't be able to use this at all. Overall it is what it says. And entry-level basic kettle. It heats water well and fast, I just wish the opening mechanism had been better designed as I'll have to buy a new one to replace this one soon.

Good Kettle
It is a good adequate size for our needs and boils quickly, but just a shame that it is not a bit quieter.

You don't always get what you pay for.
So poorly designed it's like they're taunting you for not having enough money to buy a better kettle.

Material good, but better to purchase a better one
The material is good, that's the reason I bought it. But the price seems to be a little bit high, could be more reasonable. The design is not very convenient, you need to open the whole lid each time filling in cold water and when your hand is wet, it is really hard to do so.

Nice sleek design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this kettle. It looks stylish and sleek, pours nicely, boils quickly and is not too noisy when boiling. I only wish lid was attached to jug but that’s all I’d change.
