The sophisticated performance monitor gives you instantaneous workout feedback, with a wide variety of displays and workouts to choose from. It is calibrated so you'll be able to directly compare your times and distances with other people, as well as track your progress.

Love this bike
It was delivered safely and reliably and was easy to put together. It’s a joy to ride, easy to adjust, free daily workouts (and app) from Concept2 themselves. My large iPad also fits well in the bracket, so I get to exercise comfortably with my workout of the day whilst catching up on what ever I want on the iPad. I find the display screen enough for me too with no need to artificial visual feedback… tried Zwift and it worked well, but didn’t add anything (for me personally) so cancelled… it’s always there as an option though.

I have had this bike for a few months now. I’ve managed to set it up so it pretty much matches the size of my gravel bike. It’s a great tool for keeping up cardio in bad weather!

Rock Solid and Subscription Free
The assembly was easy. It even has the required tools included. Once done, it's a rock solid piece of kit. It also doesn't take up as much space as many of the other options. The handlebar and seat adjustability is good and anyone should be able to find a suitable position. If you're not an actual cyclist, you'll find the seat pretty hard though. Definitely worth investing in some padded cycling shorts. You can also swap out the seat if you want. The PM5 monitor does all the usual stuff. But, and this is one of the reasons I opted for the BikeErg, it also includes built in ride programs. No need to pay the equivalent of a gym membership every month on top of the bike outlay. It is compatible with various apps, but you aren't forced to like other brands. Another feature that you won't find in most exercise bikes is an internal clutch system. You can simply stop pedalling without having to press buttons or drag the flywheel speed down. Very handy if any of its users are likely to forget any more complex process and do themselves an ankle injury in the process. The one place where it loses to the competition, and the reason it gets 4 out of 5, is the noise. It is NOT quiet. It is more like a jet engine ramping up. Not too bad if you aren't really trying. As soon as you put effort in, it is deafening. I had to move the speaker in the room to the windowsill next to the bike and turn it up a fair bit to be able to hear anything over the bike noise. I am completely bewildered by how anyone can honestly describe it as quiet. I can only assume they've never actually heard the beast in action. Overall, it's a great bike and I would definitely recommend it.

Concept does it again..
Concept 2 equipment is really good quality. I already have a number of Concept 2 items. I also use the whole range in various gyms that i attend. I was pleased with the latest little improvements that have been made to the BikeErg and surprised at how much thought goes in to the constant little improvements... specifically, the new device holder and relocation of the PM5 monitor, also, i'm sure the wheels have changed, it seems a bit more stable when moving it around... must check the older models next time i'm in the gym. Highly recommended if you want a good, high quality bike. I believe the bluetooth interface has been improved, but not got round to testing it yet...
