The cricut mug press sounds like a great device until you actually use it, it has a very strong pungent smell when you heat it up, so make sure you are definitely in a well ventilated area, I found just opening a window was not enough. The infusible ink pens are a lot of hasselment, it look ok on copy paper but when you transfer to your mug the lines bleed slightly, so do not pick anything to intricate and lines to close together or they will bleed into one. The infusible sheets work reasonably well but you can't do a full mug wrap so you have to leave half an inch each side of the handle, also the heating element doesn't go right to handle (due to make handle hot) so its cut short, if you wrap your design too far around mug it will not come out. A crafty dream!
Absolutely brilliant piece of kit - used my cricut to cut out a design and then the mug press imprinted my design onto a mug. You get the basic kit in the box so you’re ready to make a start with the infusible ink. Great results - now everyone in the family wants one! A fantastic bundle price too, with loads of bits and bobs to test out.

Absolutely love my mug press!!
I bought this to use as a new hobby. The first mug I’ve made is beautiful. The finish is smooth seamless and so professional. So far I’m really happy with it. The starter pack includes two mugs and three different colour papers meaning you can make a mug straight away. I haven’t tried the infusible ink pens yet but can’t wait to see how that goes. The mug press itself is so simple to use. (I did find it hard to find instructions for cutting the wrap for the mug with my Cricut maker but once I’d followed a video by Jennifer Maker I sussed it out fairly quickly) Overall this is a fantastic little starter kit and I’d highly recommend it if you would like to make professional looking mugs.
