Great Interface
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I had finally received my TV, the unboxing was relatively standard of what you expect from a TV. Loved the setup process, as I was given the option of a QR code to continue the setup on my phone or the information could be entered manually through the remote. The VIDAA app is also very slick with some great features such as being able to cast movies from my phone to the TV over Wi-Fi. AirPlay built in is a great feature but shame that it does not also have Google Cast built in. Thankfully I have a Fire Stick which will make up for that lack of functionality. Picture quality was solid & audio quality was an improvement over my previous TV. VESA Mount also worked perfectly fine with my current setup, granted some adjustments were required but this was to be expected. I would definitely recommend Hisense & seem to be a rather creditable brand as they are also sponsoring the World Cup.

Amazing TV Great for Gaming
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For gamers, this TV is a powerhouse. It features a native 144Hz refresh rate and full HDMI 2.1 support across its high-bandwidth ports. Whether you are hooking up a next-gen console or a high-end PC rig, gameplay is incredibly fluid. With an input lag hovering around a swift 6ms to 7ms at high frame rates, actions feel instantaneous. It also fully supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and Dolby Vision Gaming, eliminating screen tearing entirely.

Great picture, great sound, great TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hisense 55Q8STUK is fairly straight forward to unbox and to assemble the stand, although having someone to assist is useful for a TV of this size or larger. The remote control is well laid out with nice sized buttons that feel comfortable, with quick access buttons for most of the well known streaming sites. Like most TV’s the initial setup is automated with just a few confirmation clicks needed before you get up and running. This TV comes with freely built in so there is no need for a TV aerial, although I plugged one in just to get a few of the channels that aren’t available atm on freely. The VIDAA system is well laid out and easy to navigate with plenty of apps which open quickly. Extra channels are available in the TV Guide up in 1000’s, worth checking out as there are some worthwhile viewing there. What hits you first is the impressive quality of picture. This TV has Uled MiniLED and the picture is really sharp and clear with good accuracy. Watching a movie was enjoyable with the contrast in dark scenes really good and you can actually see what is in the shadows. Watching sports is smooth and flowing without any ball drag, looking forward to the World Cup and for gamers the TV is capable of native 144Hz for smooth, lag-free performance. The sound is also really impressive, loud and with bass. This one has a built in subwoofer which really enhances the sound experience. Not at the level of a dedicated soundbar but decent for built in sound on a TV. You can also adjust the sound to the type of programme you are watching in the settings. Overall I am really impressed with this TV, it matches some other well known brands in quality and features and is comfortable to use with quick responsiveness. Great Picture, great sound and an overall great experience.

This Hisense 55Q8STUK is a proper surprise
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hisense 55Q8STUK is a proper surprise… picture and sound are both excellent. Colours pop, blacks stay deep even with bright daylight flooding the room, and the picture clarity is consistently impressive. The AI picture optimizer actually makes a noticeable difference when you toggle it, and the TV handles kids’ films and documentaries with vivid, pleasing tones. Sound is solid for a built‑in set and the remote feels smooth and responsive; voice control works and the Netflix shortcut is handy. Setup is mostly straight forward but a couple of annoyances: the power socket placement is awkward (you’ll probably need an extension lead), and the power cable being on the “wrong” side is a bit annoying during installation. The stand feels sturdy once fitted and the packaging for screws is robust. The UI is snappy compared with older Hisense sets we’ve used, and the two setup options (app barcode or manual) are useful. Minor gripes: fiddly cable placement and occasional background app/channel hiccups, but nothing deal‑breaking. Verdict: great value if you want punchy colours, deep blacks, and easy controls, recommend for a bedroom or living room where you want big, bright picture without faff.
