About this product
When a cold snap hits and you need reliable warmth fast, the De'Longhi Bend Line Tower ceramic heater brings 2000 watts of comfortable heat into rooms up to 60 square metres. Its clever PTC ceramic element adjusts power output automatically as the room warms up, whilst the wide heating surface delivers steady, safe warmth without hot spots or harsh blasts of air.
The motorised oscillation sweeps warmth evenly across the space, so no corner is left behind. With 2 heat settings, thermostat control, and a remote, you can fine-tune comfort from across the room. An electronic timer warms the place before you get home, while the cool air blow feature gives a refreshing breeze when the weather turns. The tip-over switch cuts power if knocked, and the safety cut-out plus frost protection add peace of mind. At 2.36kg with a 1.1m cord, it's light enough to move between rooms and comes fully freestanding, ready to use straight from the box.

Customers Say
Compact, efficient heater with remote control, oscillation, and timer. Heats small to medium rooms quickly and quietly. Some noise and weak fan complaints; mixed views on cool air function.

Dinky little heater
Bought this heater for my bathroom when it gets a bit chilly in there. It's a solid unit, not too big so easy to move to other rooms, if needs must. On oscillation, its spread the heat nicely across the room. It's 2 kw maximum but that's more than warm enough for my needs. It has a anti-tip cut out switch located discreetly on the bottom of the unit so if it did topple over, it would switch itself off. And finally my favourite feature is its remote control. Every function can be accessed via the remote making it so easy to control. The remote is small (about the size of a book of matches) with good clicking buttons so you know what you are pressing. A very handy addition to an excellent heater.

Not as described on the Argos website.
Purchased as in description on Argos website it says it has a ‘cool air blow feature’. It doesn’t. It does have a fan (not very strong) which will blow ambient air around, but not cool air.

Good, efficient, reliable and cheap to run
We've bought 3 of the smaller version of this heater, this is the first of the larger one. So far, it's been just as good as the smaller ones. They heat a room quickly and fairly cheaply. Good choice of modes and the smaller ones have lasted a couple of years so far, so I have high hopes for this one.
Pleasantly surprised
Great
Very good item, no issues at all.

Fan could be better - not much airflow.
The fan was not very effective at distributing the heat.

I have old DeLonghi products. All the older ones made in Europe are quiet. The newer ones are made in China and are noisy now.

Hi DBH,
Yes, 16 C is minimum temperature setting on this De'Longhi Bend Line 2kW Oscillating Tower Ceramic Heater.
Thank you for using Q&A
16 C is minimum temperature setting.
This is however a TARGET temperature.
If set on the min 16 C on the ECO setting, the heater will try to achieve 16 C and then cut off.
Temperature will drop to around 14 C then cut in again to seek target of 16 C.
So in practice the ROOM temperature would probably bounce around 14 to 16 C.
We are very pleased with our heater and was also usefully during Covid-19 as an air circulation fan.
Hi there,
Having checked this has a 90 degree turn angle.

Hello Rose,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the De'Longhi Bend Line 2kW Oscilating Tower Ceramic Heater: The product in operation will produce between 44-49db based on mode selected, this sound will only be present as the products heats or is switched on the fan mode only.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q & A.
If your tarrif for electric is 33.00 kwh...then it will cost u. 67p per hour if using 2000w...if using 1000w heater than its half of 67p .. its vary depending on your tarrif.
Hi there
This will vary according to the tariff you are on with your electricity supplier, the heater drws 2000w of power but also has a 1200w setting and so this will also be a factor - you would need to check with your electricity provider to work out the running costs per hour.
Thanks for using Q & A
Hi Andraous
Once switched on, the De'Longhi 2kW Ceramic Tower Fan Heater can be programmed to switch off at a later time. It cannot be programmed to switch on, this has to be done manually.
Thanks for using Q&A.
