Seemed unstable compared to something very similar I purchased many years ago so I returned it. A couple of plastic end pieces were missing from the legs which did not help stability. The payment was credited back to my card very quickly which was commendable. My advice would be to improve quality control of products sold even if it means charging a bit more. Also the item could have been better packaged.

No longer fit for purpose
This is the third of these airers we have purchased from Argos, It was bought three months ago to replace one of the two previous ones (c. 7 years old) where the plastic coating had deteriorated and was flaking off. However, the specification of the frame has changed on this new one - the metal rod used seems thinner. The airer is less stable and most annoyingly the plastic end cap hinges are too big so the airer falls apart every time you pick it up. De-spec'ing gone mad! Very happy with our 10 year old one though!

Flimsy
Purchased to replace a twenty year old airer. The quality is very poor in comparison with flimsy plastic clips. I cannot see it lasting very long. I do like how they can be used against a radiator in the winter so still better than a bulky airer.

I bought this for my son. When he unpacked it one of the clips to hold it together was missing. He lives to far away to bring it back. Had to tie together with string🙄

Plenty of space to dry clothes on. Wasn’t as sturdy as I’d wanted it. Doesn’t take up too much room. Not at all heavy to move about. Seems abit unstable.

You say supplier says 208cm fully extended. But the ad description states width of 109cm. BIG DIFFERENCE. If it is the former I would buy one but, if its the latter it is no good. Each fold needs to be at least 50cm to accommodate adults tee shirts, jumpers, sweatshirts.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Argos Home 8m 4 Fold Indoor Clothes Airer:
The width of the products when full unfolded is 203cm. When the products fully unfolded, the product can not stand unless it is adjusted into an M or U shape to use.

The whole thing is 61cm long but the wire is easy enough to bend inwards a fair bit

Not quite sure but I think it will fit on any radiator as long as there are no big gaps between as they need something to grad on. Hope this helps you
