Bought this item just before Xmas. Wanted to cook roast potatoes for Xmas, watching cooking programmes, they shook potatoes in a colander to rough them up, and this colander did the job perfectly! Good quality product as well!

I would not reccomend washing rice due to the size of the holes, perfect for washing salads, fruits and draining pasta.
