This wall-mountable, collapsible weatherproof enclosure with a 4 socket, 8 meter extension lead by Masterplug is perfect for your outdoor electrical needs. Its collapsible structure and durable sides provide a convenient solution when storing. The adjustable depth ensures compatibility with various devices, including in-line transformer plugs, timers and more. IP54 rating and quad layers seal at cable entry and exit points, it seals watertight. Tool-free cable clamps, a self-locking lid, and a Velcro strip to secure the extension lead.

Brilliant idea
This was so easy to use. I wanted it for 2 outside lights I have either side of my front door. I wanted to plug them into the garage and have a timer on them to come on together. I’m a 74 year old woman but it was so easy to set up. I haven’t fastened it to the wall it’s stood on a couple of bricks behind my bin. Great idea.

Could do with being a little bit wider
This is a great product for Christmas tree lights however my plugs go in totally opposite ways so won't fit in one box only. This is however the only box tall enough to plug in the ones that go upright!

This is suitable for outdoor use provided the socket strip and plug should not be exposed to water.

The important aspect is that the socket strip and plug should not be exposed to water (which for the trailing sockets is the purpose of the weatherproof box).

EV charging regulations require that any socket a Mode 2 charger will be plugged in to needs to be tested to more stringent requirements and marked BS1363-2/EV (sometimes shortened to BS1363/EV) or state on the front face "Suitable for Electric Vehicle Charging).
There are currently no known extension leads tested, certified and marked in this way, so _no_ you can't use this kit for the indicated purpose.
