I visited Tottenham Court Road Argos 30 July 2024 to collect a £5 extension lead. I was served by Bodunrin. Bodunrin advised me to consider other options, where in the case of powercut, other extension leads have surge protection. He explained the benefits and showed me the options. I purchased one that cost around £7. I want to say thank you and that was one of thr best and original upselling skills I have experienced in 20 years of customer service and selling experience. He was not pushy and has an excellent tone of voice. Great job!!!!

Great budget extender
Really good budget product from a trusted manufacturer. Safe and easy to insert and unplug devices. I use them trailing (behind cupboards) but wall mounting is possible. Used to always buy switched and surge protected extenders but then realised they added nothing to how I use them so switched (no pun intended) to these.

Yes, you can see the cover retaining screw plus the two cable clamp screws in the main image on this listing, you simply need to unscrew the top cover and loosen the cable clamp then flip the plug over to access the terminal screws (once the cover has been taken off).
