Each bulb delivers 806 lumens of soft, warm white light that creates a cosy, relaxed atmosphere perfect for living rooms, bedrooms and anywhere you want to unwind. They're designed to fit straight into standard ES or BC fittings, making them a genuine replacement for traditional 60W bulbs but using just 6 watts of power. These bulbs switch on instantly at full brightness with no waiting around for them to warm up. I would have preferred to be able to buy a single lightbulb hence only 4 stars as I now have an expensive spare. It fits the lamp and provides good light.

Fit for purpose
Not entirely sure how one is meant to review a lightbulb 🤷♀️ All I can say is the wattage was recommended for the spare room new bedside lamp and so, I’ve not personally utilised either the lamp or bulb. That said, I am not a fan of bright lights but upon initially switching the lamp on to ensure it worked, the amount of light emitted was acceptable and I did not receive any negative feedback from my friend who stayed over Xmas.

The 1 year bulb life is the warranty period, where as the rated lamp life is a projection of 15000hrs based on lab tests run.
