I bought these 6 months ago. They Are covered - Ive had to bin mine today as cutting cheese - the coating came off and onto the cheese - this cheese was intended for a child! This may only be little but still should not be consumed.
I urge people not to purchase this product!
The blades are coveref in grey coating. Ive returned them as I dislike costing eventually coming off into food

Hi yes they are light
Yes they our light but sturdy a bought these over a year ago and there still sharp as owt the rubbery handles our great as they stay in your palm of your hand well don't slip knife set is reasonable priced only downside is the knife block it's flimsy yes it's see through so u can see what knife you our choosing but slitest knock it cracked the plastic block but the knives will last a few yrs it seems as I've not needed to sharpen them yet
