About this product
Make hearty stews and tender joints without standing over the hob. The Morphy Richards Evoke 3.5L Sear and Stew Slow Cooker offers flexibility with its aluminium pot that works on electric, gas, halogen and ceramic hobs before transferring to the slow cooker base, so you can brown meat and soften vegetables in the same pot. The 163W power and three heat settings let you control cooking time and texture for everything from rich casseroles to fall-apart pulled pork. The 3.5L capacity suits 3-4 people, and the non-stick coating means food lifts away easily.
You can check on progress through the toughened glass lid without lifting it, and when you're done, both pot and lid go straight in the dishwasher. It fits neatly on your worktop without taking over, and the removable bowl makes serving and storing leftovers simple. You'll get a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee for dependable use.

Nicely cooked.
I’ve only just bought it and used it day after. Good that you can brown your meat and veg in the removable pot on the hob and then place it inside the slow cooker. Made a chilli and it was a lot nicer when made in the slow cooker. Big enough for serving 4 people. Easy clean up afterwards.

good design
I've just used it for the first time & think it's great. So much lighter than my old ceramic slow cooker. Don't forget to keep oven gloves handy when searing as it gets hot. Good results.

The Morphy Richards Evoke 6.5L Sear and Stew Slow Cooker has dimensions of approximately H25.3 x W29.5 x D44.8 cm.
Given that an average leg of lamb measures around 30 to 35 cm in length, it should fit comfortably in this larger slow cooker without needing to be cut.

Hi Silver surfer,
Yes, you can cook a joint without adding extra liquid in the Morphy Richards Evoke 3.5L Sear and Stew Slow Cooker. The key is to choose a cut of meat with enough fat and connective tissue, such as a chuck roast, brisket, or pork shoulder. These cuts will release their own juices as they cook, which helps keep the meat moist.

No but there is a nice electric rice cooker with steamer function available I have one.
