We all loved it
Purchased to play with grandchildren 7 & 10yrs. They loved it and so did I! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. There are multiple questions depending on the throw of the 4 dice, and multi choice answers so detailed historical knowledge not exactly necessary. The questions/answers are designed to appeal to children and made it fun to play through the 4 historical eras. Well worth the money in play value (and we won’t dwell on the teaching side too 😉)

Fun and educational!
Bought this as part of a Christmas present for my nearly 10 year old nephew. The materials of the game are of good quality. I played against him and we had a lot of fun whilst testing our knowledge and learning along the way!

Fun game
I bought this for my son who loves history for Christmas. It is brilliant, us adults and children had a great time playing. There is a also choice of A, B or C for each question which is great. Usually explains a fun fact too.

Thanks for using Q & A
Hi there
The Horrible Histories Board Game contains 4 question booklets:
Savage Stone Age to Rotten Romans
Smashing Saxons to Measly Middle Ages
Terrifying Tudors to Gorgeous Georgians
Vile Victorians to Terrible 20th Century
As the game is based on the Horrible Histories Book Series there aren’t specific characters as such, however the board does feature depictions of famous historical figures such as: Queen Victoria, Henry VIII, William Shakespeare, Cleopatra, and Julius Caesar.
