About this product
The Vax Rapid Power Revive is designed to deep clean carpets, upholstery and car interiors, getting right into the pile to lift out dirt and leaving everything dry in less than an hour. It has 5 rotating SpinScrub brush bars that spin in different directions to work the cleaning solution through, and the AutoMix system sorts out the right mix of water and solution for you without any measuring.
The clean and dirty water tanks are both generous at around 5 litres, so you can cover a good amount of space before needing to refill or empty. The long power cord and hose give you plenty of reach, and it's manageable to move around at just over 8kg. You get a crevice tool and upholstery wash tool included, plus there's an adjustable floorhead for carpets and a safety cut out indicator when the tank is full. It also sucks up spills, and works across carpets, upholstery and car interiors.

Simple to use and cleans efficiently.
Used for the first time this morning to clean the carpets in our holiday let - they hadn’t been cleaned in 6 years and had a couple of stubborn patches where guests had spilt drinks and hadn’t properly mopped up. I’d been over them with foam carpet cleaners and an electric spot cleaner but it hadn’t been completely successful. This new machine was brilliant - the whole carpet looks like new and the stubborn stains have completely lifted away. It was a bit of a workout but simple to use once I got the hang of it, and more convenient and less expensive than getting someone in to do the cleaning for me. Next job is our carpet at home…

Very pleased with this carpet cleaner
I’m really happy with the Vax Rapid Power Revive Carpet Cleaner. It’s straightforward to set up and use, and it does a very good job of cleaning and refreshing carpets. It picked up far more dirt than I expected and left the carpets looking noticeably cleaner and fresher. The suction is good and it removes a decent amount of the water, so the carpets didn’t take too long to dry afterwards. The machine feels sturdy and well made, and the tanks are easy to remove, fill and empty. Cleaning it after use is also fairly simple. Overall, I’ve got no complaints at all. It does exactly what I bought it for and gives very good results. I’m very pleased with the purchase and would happily recommend it.

Impressed with result
Upon opening you will need a screw driver to attach the handle, it was very easy to set up and fill the water and solution. I did find the top container quite hard to clip in place tho. Really impressed with the results so far. First tried it on the quick wash cycle so I could get used to it on a smaller carpet. Really simple to use, hold handle button when pushing forward to release fluid and release handle button when pulling back. I did a whole bedroom carpet using just under 3 litres of water and 120ml of solution. Was easy to take apart to clean afterwards although a bit of a faff leaving it to dry before reassembling. The carpet was left damp to touch but dried quickly. Pleased with this buy so far.
