I was surprised by the effectiveness of this machine, my carpets were stained from 3years of heavy use with a big dog and kids in the house now they look almost new again. The furniture attachment worked great at cleaning the sofa as well. (Used with a good quality, heavy duty carpet & upholstery cleaning solution)
