Johnstone's Brilliant White Quick Dry Gloss is a high opacity paint for interior wood and metal surfaces, including skirting boards, doors, and staircases. Medium odour, water based formulation. Non-yellowing. Dry in 1-2 hours. Covers approx. 25m2 (per tin). For best results, prime surfaces with Johnstone's Quick Dry Primer Undercoat.

The coverage is very patchy and does not give a very good finish. It had to be done 2-3 times to even look half decent. Will never buy this paint or make again. Gone back to Dulux.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Johnstone's Wood & Metal Gloss Paint - Brilliant White 2.5L.
This product can't be sprayed, as the Wood & Metal paint contains a high level of solvent.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Johnstone's Quick Dry Gloss Paint 2.5L: In order to paint over previously solvent coatings , you would have to following these steps:
Surface should be clean and abraded with fine sand paper , once dust free the use of a Quick drying primer /undercoat should be used .
once fully dry then the quick dry Gloss can be used . The Quick dry gloss cannot no go directly on to old solvent base paint with this preparations
