Maximum canvas size misleading
This item looked better quality than expected; unfortunately we did still need to return it. The product description was ambiguous in stating maximum canvas height. Measured my canvas before purchasing and relied on the product description; notwithstanding that we found the easel to be far too small. I wish they would give clear measurements to save us wasting our time.

The supplier has advised the following for the YXSH Floor Standing Easel:
The part of the easel that supports the canvas is just over 25mm wide, so it's not for a very thick canvas. However, you can perhaps rest a deep canvas on the easel, but it's not designed for very deep canvases and wouldn't be all that stable there. The easels that are designed to hold these canvases are typically much bigger.

Hi I've had a 65cm by 60cm by 25mm on mine, had to retighten couple of times but OK otherwise.

This product has been designed to hold a canvas and art materials - it will not have been tested for holding items such as a heavy mirror and so we would not recommend trying this

It obviously depends on the weight but I would say not, mainly because the bottom supports would need continual tightening to stop it slipping down

Our supplier says the easel is aimed at adults so 14 plus but it can be used by a child, depending on their height and ability.
Our supplier's own children aged 9 and 10 have been totally fine this product
The child should be supervised and treat the object as an easel not a toy.
