Hogsmeade brought to life
I love this set. The design details are fabulous, with impossibly sloping rooves on the buildings, and quirky angles. There are delightful design surprises as well. I was slightly disappointed that a piece is missing, but trust that Lego will send it to me.

Best Set Purchase Yet
Absolutely loved building this set. It looks so good once built that it reminds me of the Hogsmeade village in the Universal Theme Park at Florida.

Hogsmeade village
I decided to buy this set after a lot of deliberation mainly on the price, but I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome loved making it and it does look great, one thing 3 of the characters could have been better, all in all a great build.

Hit & Miss
From the front this set is quite pleasing to the eye. However, 2 shops are just doors with next to no interior, only Honeydukes & the 3 Broomsticks have attention to detail, the rest seem lackadaisical, Hogshead being the most disappointing as Arianas portraitis a nice touch but is in the wrong place. A bit too much Street and not enough building depth. Minifigures are a bit of a let down due to reuse and lack of leg/skirt & arm printing we've had on much cheaper sets. 40 stickers for a UCS set is unacceptable too. Price vs piece count is higher than normal too. Sadly this seems to be the norm. Do better next time Lego please.

Overwhelmed by disappointment
I’ve never felt so disappointed and scammed by a Lego product. This is by no means a cheap set- and I wouldn’t mind that if the build was as fantastic as it could and should have been but this was far to few pieces, far too many stickers- zero real moving parts or play features. I feel totally scammed and disappointed.

Nice for display but stickers detract from build
Set is better than suggested by pre-sale reviews (most of which said not to buy!). I am pleased we made the decision to get it anyway and decide for ourselves. The gift of a little Hogsmeade sign was very cute and made up for the high price. Build is very simple compared to other HP collectors sets. The good thing with this is that I can easily build with my child and we can take it apart to rebuild. However it does mean the build doesn’t last as long. I’m not generally upset about the use of some stickers however there are so many in this set that it detracts from the build experience. Also some of the stickers are very tricky to get in position. There are very few (no?) specially printed bricks in this set which is disappointing for the price. Overall we have enjoyed it and would buy again but it does not stand up to previous collectors models.

Very disappointing
Buy Lego HP sets for my Son who has all of them since the re-launch of the theme in 2018, this means he has all the Collectors’ Edition sets to date. This has to be the worst of them all, the price of the set is way overpriced when you compare them to the previous Collectors’ Edition sets and it also lacks imagination and detail again when compared with previous Collectors’ Edition sets. STICKERS?? LEGO get stickers out of sets at this price point, it’s absolutely ridiculous that a set at this price point has stickers in it, there is absolutely no reason this set could not have been produced at the price point it is with printed bricks as suppose to stickers. We will see what the next Collectors’ Edition set is but it has to be better than this one

On my way to Hogsmeade
The scenic, snowy set is lovingly set in Hogsmeade with wonderful building techniques and a wintry vibe. It could do with better minifigs, a deeper base and a drop in price. I’ve found that the Three Broomsticks can be used as an advent calendar with its 24 windows! A snowy surprise!
