Enjoyable big screen experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impression was that it is an amazing looking TV, huge screen size 85 inches and very sleek. It came with a remote and documentation and instructions to install and use the VIDAA app. Setting up the TV for picture & sound was fairly fiddly, however with time you'll settle into it. Instruction manual could be more comprehensive, however, a quick Internet search goes a long way especially around understanding the newest features like color gamut etc. that I've encountered for the first time. There's a spectrum of settings that you can tweak as per your liking. Multiple modes for Picture setting as per your choice, same for sound. Theatre mode and dolby digital enhance the overall experience. Setting up the VIDAA app is easy and very convenient. Voice option is good as well. Setting available to be adjusted if you are watching in dark or bright room. Gaming experience has been great. Visuals, sound and the screen size make a great combo for gaming. Love watching football and cricket on the huge screen. Seamless connection and screen mirroring to my laptop is a significant upgrade to my old TV.

Entertainment as it’s finest
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Hisense TV and by far the best. The screen size is so big ideal for a summer of sports to watch at high quality screen and 4k picture quality. I love the in built sunroof sound quality is really amazing high cinematic quality. It was really easy to setup, and is very user friendly. We are yet to try the gaming properties in it yet, but I certainly it will be impressive as well. I have rated it 4 star only because of the remote being power by batteries. My previous Hisense model remote was powered by solar which was nice and environmentally friendly.

Premium TV without the pricetag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impressions of the Hisense 85 inch TV (85Q8STUK), has definitely been a significant upgrade compared to previous TVs. The TV provides a very good and clear picture quality and has been excellent for streaming shows, watching movies and gaming . Gaming mode helps to upscale and provide a nice, smooth gaming experience. Gaming has been high quality for both newer consoles as well as older ones, with the TVs gaming mode helping to keep older consoles from feeling completely outdated on such a large screen. The miniLED screen brightness is good with a wonderful contrast of colours. This has performed significantly better in direct sunlight compared to previous TVs. However, there was still some reflection with very bright direct light. The sound quality was surprisingly good, with the built in subwoofer providing good, deep bass. The overall sound is crisp with good depth, providing a high quality experience without any surround sound/additional speakers. The processor has been quick, making controlling the TV feel responsive. The voice control is also a useful addition. While remote is good and the app shortcuts are helpful, it would also be useful to have blank shortcut buttons that you can map to certain apps to allow for shortcuts to apps that may not be on the remote. This would help to allow everyone to personalised their TV to optimise their experience. Overall the TV has been excellent, and would be easy to recommend to anyone looking for a good quality, large TV without paying OLED prices.
