About this product
The Habitat Max Wardrobe sorts your clothes, accessories and essentials with hanging space and shelving that keeps everything visible and easy to reach. Made from solid oak and oak veneer, natural hardwood known for strength and beautiful grain, it adds character to your bedroom. Three slatted sliding doors reduce floor space requirements compared to hinged designs, letting you place furniture closer without blocking access. It includes a hanging rail for dresses, shirts and coats, five fixed shelves, four adjustable shelves, and two drawers to keep smaller items organised and out of sight.
The hidden plinth gives it a light, floating appearance that works well in modern bedrooms. The sliding door mechanism means you only need space for the width of one door panel, not the full swing of a traditional door. It's a tall unit that maximises vertical space without taking over your floor area. Wall fixings are included and must be used, that's really important for stability and safety in any home. Self-assembly with two people recommended, all fixings and clear instructions provided.

Great "heavy" wardrobe.
Bought tge 2 door and 3 door to give the appearance of a fitted wardrobe. Be careful tge boxes are 40-50kg and really require 2 people to move, something the delivery drivers didn't warn me of when passing through a window! Contrary to popular reviews you can build them in place. I used some probs to hold shelves in place and built on my own. The doors work well and plenty of storage. If I could change anything tge drawers need to be be waist height not ankle height.

Loving the wardrobe but missing parts.Asking to send it back because two bits of wood are missing is a bit extreme.Also to dont put sime numbers on the panels and just let you figure it out on such a lsrge item is not great..

Floor space needed for assembly
This is a really well-made, attractive wardrobe and incredibly good value. I especially like how the doors slide open so effortlessly. But I have deducted a star because it came as a surprise that so much floor space was needed for assembly. The wardrobe has to be assembled on the floor then lifted upright. I had to dismantle my bed and empty my bedroom to make enough space. Habitat should warn customers that a lot of space in the bedroom is needed for assembly!

Drawers' size: 432.5mm x 408mm x 121.5mm
Middle shelves size: 554mm x 493mm x 18mm
The height gaps differ between shelves, these are listed below, from top to bottom:

In terms of the two side sections, which are mostly open cupboards with the hanging rails in, the left one, from the bottom edge of the rail to its bottom is 1370.5mm and it's 510mm wide. The right-hand section has a shelf near the top so it's shorter at 1070.5mm and 462mm wide. The little shelf above it is the same width and 291mm tall.

The right-hand side is a bit like the left side, except that it has a high up shelf where the rail would be on the left side. The right side has no rail.
