The Brooklyn Chest of Drawers keeps your bedroom tidy without taking up too much floor space. It's a clever 22 design that gives you two full-width drawers and two smaller ones, so there's room for folded clothes, accessories and everyday bits. The solid pine and sturdy build stand up to daily use, while the smooth finish wipes clean after dusty fingers or minor marks. The grey tone works with most bedroom styles and colour schemes. Metal handles feel solid in your hand and stay securely attached through years of opening and closing.
Metal drawer runners glide smoothly, even when drawers are fully loaded. It's suitable for both kids' rooms and adult bedrooms, so it grows with your family. Poor quality and instructions
This arrived and I unpacked it and it looked good but when I started to put it together soon realised the instructions were pretty terrible and all the screws etc were mixed up together in one bag so it was difficult to ascertain which were needed. I got as far as step two before I gave up. The screws just didn’t go into the wood so it became impossible. I’ve packed it back up and emailed about a refund. Which I’m yet to hear back from even after sending the email 5 days ago. I don’t hold out much hope.

Rubbish
This is the worst flat pack furniture I have bought - I have built many items of furniture before never had issues. For starters it wasn’t clear that its a kids piece of furniture. Then all the fitting and chucked in a bag together - the wood is bad quality and the instructions rubbish. After working out what was needed to do and nearly getting to a good stage the screws tore through the wood and made larger holes - I gave up in the end - I now have a pile of rubbish that is not fit for purpose. I wish I had read the other reviews! Don’t buy!!

Awful drawers to make, don’t waste your money
These drawers are very difficult to put together, mainly because a lot of the holes don’t line up and it’s made of cheap wood. What made it worse was a faulty drawer runner that wouldn’t slide back or forth and one of the screws was missing. Luckily with a bit of extra DIY we were able to fix these problems. If I wasn’t buying this to fit under the Brooklyn bed, I would have given up and bought another chest of drawers. Save yourself the money, time and energy and don’t bother with these drawers.

I know this is marketeed as a child's chest of drawers, but I needed a small bit as a bed side set of drawers. So I needed a shorter piece of furniture Its a great quality unit, I changed the handles to gold handles. So very please.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Habitat Brooklyn 2 Door 2 Drawer Wardrobe - White:
All chipboard and MDF panels contains glue. So, they will emit some formaldehyde. Even untread pine does naturally emit formaldehyde.
We buy our MDF panels in Germany. Germany has stricter regulations for formaldehyde emissions from MDF panels which from 2020 only allow half the amount of formaldehyde E05 as rest of Europe.
From August 2026 will rest of Europe follow the change from E1 to E05 values.

The Habitat Kids Brooklyn 2+2 Chest of Drawers- Grey and Ellis toddler bed are made by the same manufacturer so therefore the shades of grey should be very similar although this cannot be guaranteed due to batch to batch variations.

I googled - mat lacquer gloss 20 colour code RAL 9003 - and google images comes up with an off-white or greyish white. Based on this and the images not really looking like brilliant white, I certainly wont be buying it. The colour option should be accurate and the white option should clearly be greyish white. Disappointing to say the least!
