They will also heat up from the residual heat and will force it to cool down slower.

The first time I only got 3 covers in the box, but they were replaced immediately. It should be 2 of each size.

Stainless steel can change colour when exposed to heat, you can try to clean the item with a stainless steel cleaner and a non abrasive sponge.

no they are not because i turned the wrong hob on and made the cover all purple and have ruined it !
