This works with Xbox Wireless Controllers with a USB-C port.
For most of these controllers, the relevant port is on the top/back of the controller, in between the right and left trigger buttons.

I can advise the following for the Official Xbox Series X Rechargeable Battery Pack & Cable Set:
Apologies, this will only work with the newer Series X|S controllers. You could use something like this, https://www.argos.co.uk/search/gioteck-duo-ch... to allow you to charge it when not in use, on a dock and it supports both the Xbox One controllers as well as the Series X|S controller (If you later decide to upgrade).
