Comfortable mattress with good storage and value for money. Some issues with frame quality, drawer durability, and assembly reported. Overall, a sturdy bed with a medium-firm mattress that many find supportive and good for back pain.

Basic Bed with Quality Issues
The bed looks good once assembled, but unfortunately one of the metal leg sockets arrived misshaped, so the leg couldn’t be fitted properly. This made the bed unstable and we had to improvise just to use it. Very disappointing for a brand‑new item. The mattress and headboard are fine, but the bed frame itself is very basic and the quality is poor. There is no padding on the frame at all — just a thin cloth stretched over the wood — so even a small knock is painful, and it feels like a hole would easily form in the material. After contacting customer service, we were offered a small amount of compensation, which we accepted because packing and sending the whole bed back would have been far too much hassle. We eventually managed to find a replacement metal socket online and, with some effort, replaced it ourselves. The bed is usable now, but the initial defect, the poor frame quality, and the extra work involved were frustrating. Quality control definitely needs improvement.

Hello Shen and Granny,
The supplier has advised the following for the Silentnight Comfort Superking 2 Drawer Divan Bed - Grey:
"The mattresses are tested to a combined weight of 203Kgs - 32 Stones."
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Jacko
Position the two divan halves where they are to be used and bring them together ensuring that the black unit connectors are facing each other. Standing to one side of the bed, lift the right hand base approx 100mm, while holding the left hand base in position. Then, squeeze the divan halves together and lower the right hand base ensuring the connectors locate. Repeat on the other side.
Hope this helps. Thanks for using Q&A.
