Clean up in one go
I have owned one of these before. I purchased another as I know how handy it was, and now with two messy pets, this has made it so much easier to clean up spills and dry mess at the same time instead of using two different appliances.

Great results: a faff to clean and put away
Having owned this product for only a little while, I am offering my initial impressions. First, it appears well made, set up was simple and instructions were fine. I immediately gave it a try-out on my vinyl tiled kitchen floor which had been recently hand mopped. And the evidence was shockig: in 5 minutes it picked up more dissolved mud and general doggy gunge than I knew existed. Afterwards I was able to run a kitchen towel over treated areas without any discernible residue, a miracle in itself. So, I am sold on results. However, the jury is still out on how practical this will be in regular use. There is no doubt that clean up is a bit of a pain. It took more time to take apart clean and re assemble the thing than it did to clean the floor. And it leaked excess water puddles over the drying floor while waiting for my attention. I have had cleaning equipmet similar to this design in the past and my track record of tolerance for their hassle factor is not good. So although it did an impressive cleaning job I am deducting a star for its neediness: designers, please have a thought for hard pressed housekeepers. We don't have time to faff with components: make it easier.

Really deep clean.
I’m really pleased how easy this is to use. The dirty water proved that a mop and bucket just does not clean! Horrific haha. It’s a bit fiddly removing the brush bit and having to dry it etc, but unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be any stock to buy another one, which would be useful. The brand’s solution is very good, doesn’t smell other than ‘clean and fresh’ and seems to work well. I’ve used it on kitchen Lino and my non slip floor in the wetroom (which I was initially worried would shred the brush, but it was fine). Heavier than I expected and takes up quite a bit of floor space with its special tray so bear that in mind.

Perfect 5*!
Bought this due to moving into a new house and having a big hard floor area and the previous owners having dogs and the carpet stinking! Great product! Leaves everything lovely and clean! Not too heavy. Comes with a plastic tray to leave it on 5*

I Bought This “Vacuum-Mop” as a Gimmick…
I bought this fully expecting it to be another “in theory it’s brilliant” gadget that ends up living in the cupboard behind the iron. But honestly? It’s a game changer. If you’ve ever done the classic routine of vacuuming, then mopping, then somehow still stepping on a crumb you swear wasn’t there five minutes ago… this feels like you’ve just been handed a cheat code. The best bit is how it makes cleaning hard floors weirdly enjoyable. I know that sounds like something a robot would say to blend in with humans, but it’s true. There’s something satisfying about watching it deal with the everyday chaos—dust, hair, little bits of whatever fell off a child’s snack, gritty footprints—while you’re moving around the room like you’re actually making progress, not just redistributing dirt in a new direction. What genuinely surprised me is how “real life” it is. It doesn’t just glide over the mess and leave you to finish the job with a cloth and a dramatic sigh. It picks up physical debris and actively cleans the floor at the same time, which feels borderline revolutionary if your previous method was: “vacuum first, then mop around anything that didn’t fancy being vacuumed.” With this, you can go from “ugh, the kitchen floor is disgusting” to “oh, it’s actually clean” in one pass, without doing the two-step dance. The self-cleaning feature is also incredibly useful, because the worst part of any cleaning tool is the cleaning of the cleaning tool. This one at least makes that bit less grim. You’re not left doing a full forensic investigation in the brush roll with your fingers, pulling out wet hair and mystery fluff like you’re defusing a tiny bomb. It’s not totally hands-off—you still empty the dirty tank and rinse things—but it’s more “quick rinse and done” than “why have I done this to myself.” A couple of real-world notes: it’s not silent, but it’s the normal kind of loud you’d expect from something that’s actively doing work. It’s corded, which I actually like for this kind of job because it doesn’t suddenly run out of battery right when you hit the worst patch of floor. You might still want a quick swipe for awkward corners/edges if you’re fussy (I am), but for the main floor area it absolutely does the heavy lifting. If vacuum cleaners had an “industrial revolution” moment, this is it. It takes what used to be two separate chores and turns it into one job that’s faster, cleaner, and weirdly satisfying. It’s the difference between “I’ll do the floors when I have the energy of a superhero” and “yeah, I can do that now and not resent everyone in the house afterwards.”

Would definitely buy again.
Brilliant had mine for 3/4 years I use the CrossWave hard floor cleaner on kitchen tiles, several times a week a main thoroughfare for people and dogs. Unfortunately sometimes doesn’t reach quite into corners, but don’t think another brand would either.
