Great value
A good looking kettle that has a big capacity. Boils water really fast, the illuminating light shows the level of water which is very handy too. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought this last month. It’s great but the filter keeps falling out of place.

very off putting
bought this knowing what problem it had....... its only got 1 window showing capacity. you can see from wright hand perspective on the wright side of your kitchen but if your spot is on the left its blank even when filling its one-sided. i fill it up with a jug so i can see how much i`m putting in. very off putting

Nice kettle
Really nice kettle like the colour. Quick boiling and not too noisy. It illuminates when switch on and has measurements for cups.

Built in obsolescence? Maybe!
I bought this to replace a similar Russell Hobs kettle that had started to "hit & miss" with it's auto shut-off. Ultimately the old one wouldn't stay switched on. Built in obsolescence? Maybe! After that experience, why would I buy another Russell Hobbs model? Because the old one had performed flawlessly - until it didn't anymore. Anyhow, I figure I got my money's worth out of it & the replacement was relatively cheap. The new one is a better design insofar that it has a hinged lid (as opposed to removable), and it's a plain stainless finish, rather than the paint/powder coat finish of the old one (coloured finishes chip around the lid in my experience).
