Needs improvement.
I would not recommend this kettle. It has 2 stars just because it boils water. Which is what it is meant to do. What it also does is scold your hand when you pour the water out. The lid does not seal and steam comes out of the lid by the handle. My old kettle did not do this.

Poor lid release
The kettle is almost impossible to open when hot to refil, takes numerous pushes of the release button to open. Even cold it sometimes sticks. Very cheap and plastic feel to the product, would not recommend.
