The Jay-Be Crown Premier is designed for extreme contract environments. The deep sprung mattress is highly durable, breathable, and hypoallergenic. A strong steel frame is finished in durable epoxy paint. High performance 360 steel lockable castors make the Crown easy to manoeuvre and secure in place. Achieves higher British and European safety standards than regular guest beds.
Developed with our Planet in mind these ultra-comfortable Foam Free, e-Fibre comfort layers are created by bonding specially engineered fibres of recycled plastic materials. The fibres are Free from harmful chemicals & VOC's (volatile organic compounds), are Hypoallergenic and 100% recyclable. So that your mattress can be responsibly disposed of.

- Tailored in a traditional hand tufted, high-performance fabric, its deep sprung core is topped with a comfort layer of luxury lambswool, naturally improving the fire resistance of the mattress and actively wicking away moisture for temperature regulation. The unique open cell structure of the e-Fibre fillings enables the mattress to breathe, ensuring that it stays fresh when in storage.

Great Mattress, not flat like most.
This is such a lovely convenient put you up for when someone comes to visit. The quality is very good, most of these type beds come with such a flat and uncomfortable mattress but, this one is great.

A Great Folding Bed & Mattress
Bought recently ready for those Christmas stop-overs! The collapsible bed frame is sturdy, well made and supplied with a deep-sprung single mattress. The small amount of assembly work involved bolting the headboard to one end of the bed-frame using 3 bolts & "nuts" supplied in the "assembly kit" (however to make the bolting together less fiddly, I used 2 slightly longer bolts through the thicker lower bed-frame area). I also found it worthwhile purchasing a Jay-Be cover for the folded bed.

Comfy bed… BUT…
Comfy bed, but the nuts don’t fit the holes for the headboard. I had to get a file and file the holes so they could fit. Not impressed because of the money I paid.

Read a review about this bed i also needed a bed for a time because of my husband illness. I decided just to keep the bed up as it would not fit in to the cupboard. I put some throws and nice cushions on it and I did take the headboard off it looks really cosy.

Perfect for our needs
This is an expensive item but as it is like a proper bed with a sprung mattress it is worth it if necessary for your needs. An elderly relative confined to downstairs needed a bed that could be stored during the day - this fits the bill perfectly. It is comfortable, easily folded up and down by one competent person, and can be moved about easily when folded as it is on wheels. The folding of the bed does not 'translate' to the mattress in that there are no fold lines or dents in the mattress. It is a large, unattractive item to store, which needs to be borne in mind.
