About this product
The Habitat Nomad TV Unit keeps your living room tidy and gives your TV a proper home that looks the part. It's got a sturdy build with a metal framework and wood-effect finish that suits most living rooms. There's space for screens up to 50in, and it'll hold up to 14kg safely. Two drawers let you tuck away remotes, cables and all those bits that usually end up scattered about. Five open media sections give you room for your set-top box, games console, and other digital kit. The tabletop's handy for drinks, photo frames, or a speaker.
The drawers run on metal runners, so they glide smoothly when you're opening and closing them. Five shelves spread across the media sections keep everything organised and easy to reach. Cable access openings at the back keep wires under control and out of sight. Black handles add a practical finishing touch. It's designed for two people to assemble together, with all fixings included. There's a one-year manufacturer's guarantee for peace of mind.

A lovely TV Unit and good quality for the price. The assembly instructions were not the greatest - numbered in the booklet but no pieces labelled but got there in the end!

Some pre-drilled holes not in right place
Generally ok though took a while to build. Final assembly requires full alignment though and some pre-drilled holes are not in right place,so front is slightly wonky, and back panels took some work to fit as a reult, also wonky.

Modern looking TV stand. From the moment I saw it on Argos' website I knew I had to buy it. It looks amazing with the coffee table from the same set. It has 2 drawers and shelves. It took longer to put it together than the coffee table but it's not that difficult.

The supplier has advised the following for the Nomad TV Unit - Oak Effect:
The width of the top shelf is 118.3cm, so that sound bar (of these dimensions: L96, W11, H6cm) can be fit on that wide highest shelf on this unit. It could also be placed on the top of the unit too.

“ The metal legs can be removed. The height of wooden unit without legs is 36cm. ”
However, this would cause the item to be classed as modified and not used as intended so the warranty may void.
