Smart looking
I brought this about a month ago ..flat pack .. easy to put together and feels quite solid..large draw capacity..which is nice ..and doesn't look out of place with my oak furniture..good price good quality

Great chest of draws
Bought this chest of draws as an entry level purchase. Surprised at the ease of build, instructions easy to follow. Took just over and hour to build, no damage. It’s is oak effect and as such cheaper wood but it looks great and does the job required.

Lovely furniture
I am very happy with my purchase, I have also bought the five door wardrobe and dressing table. I am just waiting for the two bed side tables to arrive. They look very elegant and much more expensive than purchase price

Good value draws
Bought these to try and match existing furniture in room. Look great and am happy with the aesthetics. They took slightly longer to assemble than estimated and would have been easier with another pair of hands but managed fine on my own. My only grumble is that the runners for the draws do not allow for the smooth opening and closing (some of the holes did not exactly align but this could also be down to my assembly

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Jenson 5 Drawer Chest - Oak Effect: ''The drawer fronts on the oak version are chipboard covered with a paper foil which has a lacquered surface.''

I reckon so. It's laminate wood, so you'd need to sand it a bit and use primer as well as your top paint. I have no experience in doing so.

"The top panel is a plastic film laminated to an MDF core. To clean simply clean with a damp soft cloth, this will be sufficient."
