The blender is good for the price, it blends food smooth as described. But when the jug is filled to the brim, it takes quite very longer time to blend, and smell effect of friction perceived. But generally, the blender is okay

I bought it for this reason yesterday. Tried to blend frozen fruit in it this morning and it really struggled. Will be returning it later today!
I have this blender with the glass jug I use it to blend frozen blueberries every morning and then add raw spinach to it. It blends easily and fast and no lumps at all !

Tefal Blendforce II 1.75L Plastic Jug Blender:
I can see no reason why you can not make baby food. Just add less liquid to make a thicker consistency and ensure you are not using hot liquids. This is NOT suitable for hot liquids.

We can advise that you are able to make a crumble topping with this blender. For dry ingredients, we would recommend to use the pulse function a few seconds at a time for a maximum of 3 minutes.
