One of the best helmets
I’ll start my review by saying don’t listen to the people criticising this build it’s a lot better than most of the helmet builds, Having seen reviews on various platforms and some less than positive comments my aspirations where low but I love the lotr so bought the set , and I’m so glad I did. It’s quite an imposing set bigger than most helmet builds and looks great. People have commented on the grey not being correct but it’s perfect , depending on the lighting conditions it can cast light and dark patches and makes it look more “metallic”. Only challenging part are the angle pieces there are lots so would recommend the builder app 👍. Only criticism is price as always per piece count. Would feel better value below rrp. This would be perfect with a light brick and some red translucent pieces behind the eyes, my next mod 😀. Overall a fab build

Display Piece
I was so excited when this was announced, Lord Sauron is a perfect addition to my home. The build looks well once complete but I have to express disappointment at the cost vs build time with this model, although at just over five hundred pieces it was obviously a mini build which is pricey at seventy five pounds.

Great product would love more Lego helmets for lord of the rings example: Rohan helmet, Gondor helmet, Uruk-hai helmet etc.

The dark lord has returned
This is a fantastic looking set considering its scale and what its trying to represent in using lego bricks topped off with a really nice minifigure. It was a straight forward build but getting some of the panels once built in place is a little tricky without it falling apart . The price is a bit hard to swallow but luckily I had enough insider points to get it for free otherwise I might not of got the set. I like to use my insider points to get things I might not necessarily buy. I'm very happy with it and looks really good on display, just a shame it doesn't have a bit more of a metallic finish to it .

Awful set
This set just falls apart when building, putting the sides on and the back falls off, putting the back on and the sides fall off. Horribly designed set. Was excited for this one, HUGE dissapointment.

Looks great but high price
Fantastic to see new ideas in the Lord of the rings theme and this helmet looks great I would 100% recommend it but probably wait till it’s on sale as it’s just a little expensive for what it is.

If you only buy one helmet in this range, buy this one. Stunning design and very clever build. Looks epic on display. The Sauron minifigure is a superb bonus.
