I've only had this a few weeks but very pleased with my purchase. Been looking for a hoover for a while. This ticks all the boxes,much lighter than my old upright. Alright you need to empty it often but easy to do,then clean it ready for next use.Like how it picks dust up and anti hair wrap is so good.Much easier for doing stairs and a nice long flex. Base lights the way so you definitely don't miss anything.I think this is definitely best hoover and first Shark one I've ever had. Folds nicely for storing under my stairs. Would definitely recommend.

7 Month on , used once a week, - suction gone, all debris get stuck in a "foot" , lift the hoover and all rubbish back, getting hot very quick . Give up !

I brought this hoover 2 weeks ago and it is wonderful easy to assemble easy to empty lovely colour the only down side is that for me it's a bit heavy but overall its a great machine

The Flexology Anti Hair Wrap has separate Hard Floor and Carpet settings. On the Hard Floor setting, the brush-rolls spin more slowly for hard floors and small rugs, while on the Carpet setting they spin faster for deeper carpet cleaning. If you have loop pile carpet, we do recommend extra care. We advise testing the vacuum on a small, hidden area first to ensure the spinning brush-rolls do not damage or unpick carpet fibres. If the rug is being pulled up, manually switch the vacuum to Hard Floor mode for these surfaces. If this still doesn't resolve the issue, you can remove the floor nozzle and use the Upholstery Tool attached to the wand to clean smaller rugs instead.

Instead, it offers two main settings: a Hard Floor/Small Area Rugs mode where the brush-rolls spin slowly, and a Carpet mode where the brush-rolls spin faster for deeper cleaning.
