Unfortunately, even after reading the reviews I went ahead and purchased this product for my son at university. Unfortunately one of the suctions does not work. It is holding by using just one, but not ideal.

Mismatched suction pads
The quality of the coated double rack was excellent so I was very disappointed that I could not hang it from the suction pads which had a diameter too large to fit through the rungs of the rack.

The quality of these are great, attaching to tiles with the suction pads is very easy and works well. I purchased two, but one would have been sufficient as they are big and can hold at least 6 full size bottles etc.

Yes the Argos Home Suction Cup Wire 2 Tier Shower Caddy – Black will remain in place if the walls get steamy, as long as the wall is flat, the twist and lock action will keep this in place.

Thanks for your query about the Locking Suction Cup Wire 2 Tier Caddy - Black.
Having checked to see, this is designed to be removed so as to allow the suckers and the wall they're attached to to be cleaned. It's not a permanent fixing and you can take this caddy down put it elsewhere using its original suckers if you wish.

I can confirm suction will not work on porous painted walls. It is best used on shiny surfaces such as glass, tile, stainless steel...
