I was genuinely surprised at how well this worked.

My carpet had some stubborn marks and just looked a bit tired, but after using this solution with the Rug Doctor machine it came up looking fresh and noticeably cleaner. The scent is clean and pleasant without being too strong, and the carpet dried quicker than I expected. It was really easy to use and I didn’t have to use a lot of product to see a difference. I’ll definitely use this again for deep cleaning. Highly recommend.

The Rug Doctor carpet cleaning solution has anti foam in it.
The only time foam will be seen on the carpet is if too much solution has been put in the machine.

Yes, I can confirm this is suitable. Shag pile carpets hold much more moisture than cut pile carpets, so it’s best to avoid over-wetting. To avoid drying problems, we recommend only one cleaning pass over longer pile carpets.
