Okay, does the job
I'm happy with the way it works and the ease of using it. One problem - it is supposed to turn off automatically, it does not. In order to turn it off we have to remove the batteries.

Salter Electronic Bowl Scale - Silver
Unfortunately since buying these scales a few weeks ago, I have not been able to use it as planned. I wanted to use them to weigh my food daily as part of my weight loss journey however I can't get the screw out so I can put a battery in! No screw driver can undo it because the manufacturer has screwed it down too tight, solid, it just will not budge! I even took it to B&Q and still couldn't find the right screw driver to get it out, and staff assisted me! This is so.... annoying and frustrating!

Solved a weighty problem!!
Very good and accurate scales (I did have them checked). I use a glass bowl to measure for baking. Good product at a good price.

Still assessing this product
I have reservations about this product. It needs two batteries to function and the time is on constant display. You can’t turn it off. Our previous similar Salter scale ate batteries and it didn’t have time display. I haven’t had it very long and it is already displaying “lo” which is what happens when the batteries are running down. I fear it is going to cost a fortune in batteries.
