My current 2TB Seagate drive started playing up, so I got this 4TB Western Digital to back the old one up. I've used WD drives before and have found them reliable. It's plug and play. It's palm sized. It's black and discreet. You can't really go wrong.

It is a bit less than 4TB, but that's not unusual.
I thought I'd already reviewed this purchase - but maybe I didn't, because sometimes there isn't much to say. The reviews I read before I bought it criticised it for a flimsy plastic case, but I think that's unfair. I'm mainly using it to amalgamate a lot of backups and archives into one place, so I'm not intending to carry it about a lot, just sticking it on my desk. But I wouldn't worry if I did need to move it. I'm not hamfisted. It works fine. I reformatted it before using it, as I use it on a Linux machine, but it comes formatted for Windows.

This will depend on the Tv and what drives the Tv maximum storeage it supports.
It will also depens as to the file system the Tv supports.
Please refer to the Tv manual for advice.
If recording Tv programs on a PC yes you can transfer TV programs to this hard drive.
