Small, reliable external storage
Small, compact storage with usb 3.0 for new and old systems, have sold many of these to my customers over the years and haven't had any problems thus far, will continue to buy these as they are very good value indeed.
Good so far
I needed this only to do a single emergency backup and store away. So basically, I've only used it once, and am likely to only use it once if all things go well. But it did its job, and for the price point, is a remarkably compact and useful external drive. My only complaint is that the design of the corners, while good for slipping into a bag, make it a little less stable when storing on its side on a shelf. I've not given five stars only because I really can't rate its reliability yet.
Mighty little box
Easy to set up and very good value for money.
Yes, you may use the drive with MacOSX , you will need to either install the NTFS drivers for MacOSX or reformat the drive to a suitable file system for use with MacOSX
OSX v 10.7.5 uses HFS+ and is not natively able to use APFS
The ExFAT file system should also work but cannot be guaranteed.

TL/DR You should not have any problems using the drive with Windows 7 or 10 with any recent PC/Laptop, although the usable drive space may be reduced if you have a PC/Laptop that is older than 9 years or if your PC/Laptop uses the older MBR based partitioning Scheme
As you have not advised which PC/laptop you are using I am unable to give specific advise and the following is offered as a generalised abridged answer
Drives over 3TB in size will require the PC/Laptop to understand GPT partitioning schemes and have a UEFI based BIOS to do this.
If you have a older PC that does not have a EUFI BIOS then it may require the drive to be repartitioned to using a 'MBR' partitioning scheme and see a maximum partition size of 2TB
Most PC's and Laptops released in the past 10 years will use a UEFI based bios by default and should pose an issue.
Hope this helps and Thank you for using Argos Q&A
