Unreliable
When this product works well it's brilliant We have had a couple of issues - 1) original unit didn't charge, needed replacing 2) the shield warped when put in the steriliser. In the instructions it says not to do this, but my view is that this is fundamental design flaw. Product of this price should be durable for sterilisation. Our lactation consultant recommended other products for a fraction of the price but do the same thing

Awful service - do not purchase from Argos
Bought the Elvie Breast pump and after 1 week it stopped working, tried to return to Argos and they refused to take it back claiming they could not due to not knowing if it is faulty or not. Awful service - never stop for baby products are Argos!!!!!

Disappointing performance
I bought this for my daughter for her 2 mth premature baby. She found it painful to use & not sufficient pump action to stimulate milk supply. It was a great deal of money wasted although a clever concept.

Provides great freedom in pumping
I’ve been using this pump for 2 months and am really please with the portability, ease of use. It’s expensive but worth the investment, there was an issue with one of the pumps but elvie’s support was excellent and sent a replacement in the post which arrived next day

Expensive but worth it!
A great product. Very useful for a busy mummy on the go! It is expensive but very worth the cost.

Freedom from the sofa
The pump is expensive, but was worth it for me. The pump is portable I no longer feel tethered to the sofa. The pump is quiet and discrete. My ante-natal group did not realise I was wearing them. The indicator lights are useful, but bright, which is less desirable at night or when out. It is more difficult to cuddle the babes with them on. To avoid leaks, be upright and not move too energetically. Align components correctly, to ensure it collects milk.
