Great all round machine
I really like this machine, It took me a few attempts to get used to the right amount of coffee and how firmly to tamp it down, but once I’d figured that out, the results were consistently good. The espresso has a lovely rich flavour with a nice layer of crema on top, and it also makes a great cappuccino thanks to the steam wand. Frothing milk took a little practice but it’s satisfying once you get the hang of it. I also like that the machine doesn’t take up too much space on the kitchen counter and has a classic stainless steel look that suits most kitchens. Cleaning it is fairly straightforward, although the steam wand does need wiping straight after use to stop milk drying onto it. The only downside I’ve found is that it isn’t the quickest machine to use if you’re making several drinks one after another, and there’s a bit of a learning curve if you’ve never owned an espresso machine before. That said, I actually enjoyed learning how to use it properly. For the price, I think it’s excellent value. It produces coffee that’s far nicer than instant coffee and saves me trips to coffee shops. If you’re happy to spend a little time learning the basics, I’d definitely recommend the De’Longhi Classic Espresso Coffee Machine.

Great little machine
I have used the machine for around 2 weeks now and this is the first real coffee machine I have had and first impressions are great, A little tricky to use at first especially if you are used to using a simple coffee pod machine but after a few times of use I found it easy to use although I am not yet up to speed on all the various settings but that will come with further use, the machine is a nice design, build quality seems good and it’s more compact than I was expecting. It has worked very well so far, me and the missus really like the coffee it produces. The milk frother is good if you like frothier coffees and a cappuccino is super from this machine. The steam wand is simple to use with the turn of the dial you can switch from hot water to steam the main thing I like is the temperature of the coffee, it’s ready to drink from the moment it’s finished which is perfect for me. I like the fact that you can, if desired use coffee pods as well as ground coffee. The machine is easy to clean, the coffee taps, filters are easily removed. The water tank has a good capacity and is also easy to access to refill. in my opinion it is superb value for money.

Café-Quality Coffee at Home – Stylish, Easy to Use
Here’s a polished positive review: I’m really impressed with the De’Longhi Classic EM450.M Espresso Coffee Machine. It looks stylish and premium on the kitchen worktop, but more importantly, it makes a fantastic cup of coffee. The espresso is rich, smooth and full of flavour, with a lovely crema. One of the best features is how easy it is to use. It heats up quickly, making it perfect for busy mornings, and the controls are simple and straightforward. The steam wand is also a great addition, allowing you to create creamy milk for cappuccinos, lattes and other café-style drinks at home. I also love the compact design, which doesn’t take up too much space while still feeling solid and high quality. Overall, this is a brilliant coffee machine for anyone who enjoys barista-style coffee at home. Stylish, easy to use and capable of making delicious coffee – I would definitely recommend it!

Great Espress Machine that does what it promises.
A major plus is the machine isnt as big as it looks so takes up less bench space and fits neatly in the corner. As for coffee the machine uses ground coffee only and is capable of making two cups at once with either single or double shot Espresso's. The milk also heats up and froths quickly and the machine is easy to use once you get the hang of it. The machine is also easy to clean.and come apart easily to be thoroughly cleaned. The only drawback is a jug is not included so had to be purchased separately but all in all this is a fab coffee machine that makes great coffee.

Sleek and sophisticated
It’s a perfect machine, user friendly controls and an easy to follow guide book. The frother only requires a small amount of milk or oat milk to completely fill up a cup. From the picture we thought we would get the metal jug but it didn’t come with one. I recommend you get one as an add on due to the volume of froth produced. The espresso amount is a little low in our glasses we use but we tend to double up anyways. Ground coffee granules go your taste and strength would be required; when pressing in make sure none comes out around the edge of the press or it’ll end up in your drink which isn’t the most pleasant. Each use I would recommend wiping it over as the steam leaves some residue on the press. But it’s a quick clean not labouring. It’s a sleek design and looks sophisticated. A complete upgrade from our prior machine and really pleased with it.

Easy to operate
Great little machine ideal for the coffee machine novice which I am . I flushed it through a few times before the first coffee . Would have liked a sample of coffee enclosed as this delayed my first use . Simple to operate just need to practice and make more .

Easy to use, stylish & practical
It’s easy to use once you get the hang of it, and the espresso comes out really well, especially when using fresh coffee. I also like the steam wand for making cappuccinos and lattes. It takes a bit of practice to get the milk just right, but once you do, you can make some really nice coffees at home. Cleaning it is fairly straightforward, which is always a bonus. I think it’s a good option if you want to make barista-style drinks at home without spending a huge amount on a coffee machine. Overall, I’m really happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys espresso, cappuccinos or lattes

Fab, stylish and classic machine
Straight out of the box, the machine makes a fantastic impression. Its premium metallic finish and prominent pressure gauge give it a stylish, modern look that fits perfectly into our kitchen. The setup instructions are clear and straightforward, and making single or double espressos is relatively easy to get to grips with. The steam wand is a great addition, allowing you to make cappuccinos, lattes and flat whites. It did take me a few attempts to achieve consistently smooth, silky milk foam, but that's part of the learning process and I quickly improved with more practice. The machine has a generously sized cup and drip tray area and, after a few weeks of usage, I’ve found it fairly easy to keep clean. One of the biggest advantages is the pressure gauge, which gives you far more control over the extraction process than a typical bean-to-cup machine. Once you get things dialled in, this can really help produce a more satisfying and flavoursome cup of coffee. Overall, I’m really pleased with this machine. It looks fab, feels premium and offers a much more hands-on coffee-making experience.
