I recently started using Shark PowerDetect Speed Clean and Empty Pet Pro. I had Dyson for many years. I am genuinely impressed with its performance. It’s incredibly lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around the house and use on different floors. The battery life is very good and lasts long enough to clean my entire home without needing to recharge. The suction power is absolutely brilliant. I have kids, so the house gets messy quickly, but this vacuum makes cleaning so much easier. It picks up even the smallest particles, especially hair, which is a huge plus. One of my favourite features is the auto-empty function. I used to hate emptying the vacuum manually, but this has made the whole process effortless and much more hygienic. Overall, the house feels much cleaner after using it. The motor is powerful, and the build quality and materials feel very high-end. I would definitely say it’s worth the investment as makes your house feel clean and hygienic.

Ergonomically designed, handsome vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really outstanding suction which varies according to level of dirt detected. Really quite impressive. I used it to vacuum clean the inside of the car for starters as it is cordless, lightweight and has great set of attachments; which also fit neatly onto the base of the unit. The performance is exceptional. I have only given it 4 stars as it is hard to find a place to keep it where it can charge, be out of sight and yet still be easily accessible. It is ergonomically designed with a nice holding and easy to use. Assembly from the box was straightforward.

Awesome Hoover

Firstly the hoover was packed extremely well. Once the hoover was fully charged I used it in the hallway on carpet & it still picked up dust and debris even though the carpet was hoovered the day before by another famous brand, which was quite surprising to me. I found the hoover very easy to use & light weight. The sensor works very well deciding on the type of flooring it's hoovering, it will make it's own adjustments. It comes with handy crevice tools. One feature I love is that it can collapse to go under furniture. I would definitely recommend this hoover to everyone.

Genuinely the best vacuum I've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can honestly say this is the best vacuum I’ve ever had. I previously owned another well known big brand, and compared to this, it was awful! The self emptying feature is a total game changer ,so convenient and mess free. I also love how easy it is to clean under furniture thanks to the flexible wand. It gets into places my old vacuum never could. It’s very lightweight, easy to hold, and actually enjoyable to use… which I never thought I’d say about a hoover! It genuinely makes you want to clean. Most importantly, the results are incredible. My carpets look spotless. I thought they were clean before, but the amount of dirt and hair this picked up was shocking and such a noticeable difference. Highly impressed and would absolutely recommend!

Amazing vac

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been two weeks since the product arrived, and I have used it every day since then. First of all, the product is of excellent quality, with a sleek design and lightweight construction that makes it easy to handle. It looks perfect in my home decor. In terms of performance, it detects different types of flooring—such as carpet, wood, and tile—as I have a combination of these surfaces in my house. I can see the switch between them clearly. However, regarding suction power, I prefer using it in full mode because the auto-detect mode wasn't as effective. When set to full suction mode, the battery lasted quite a long time, which is a significant plus for me. My favorite feature is the Auto-Empty charging dock along with the beam, which helps illuminate areas that are hard to see on my wood floors, especially where dust tends to accumulate. I also love that the device can bend, making it easy to reach underneath my sofa; combined with the beam, I can ensure my floors are thoroughly cleaned without moving the furniture. Additionally, I want to mention that the motorized handheld tool and crevice duster are excellent attachments for cleaning sofas and stairs efficiently. Overall, it's an excellent addition to any busy household, with one product keeping the entire house clean. The only issue I had was with the auto-detect suction power, and the duct tends to get blocked by fiber balls from the carpet, which requires manual cleaning by opening it up. Regarding suction, you can select and adjust it to your preference.

I was sent the Shark PowerDetect Speed Clean and Empty Pet Pro Cordless Vacuum – Ultramarine for testing. I've been using it for 1 week now and I am extremely impressed with the product. It's the best vacuum I’ve ever used! Well done Shark! From a female point of view, it was incredibly easy to assemble. It's quiet compared to other vacuums I've used. Despite vacuuming previously with another product, I was surprised by the amount of dust it extracted. The carpet and mats feel fluffier and look cleaner and brighter. The Flexology feature allows it to bend, which is great for getting under furniture and beds. The light at the front changes depending if it's a hard floor or carpet. With the duster crevice tool attached to the handheld, vacuuming stairs and furniture is quick and easy. The suction power is excellent and it is smooth as it glides across the carpet and hard floor, automatically sensing the change in flooring types. I love the way the cleaning head is not rigid and can move in different directions. So far, I haven't had to remove hairs caught up in the roller, so the anti-hair brush roll works! The mode selection button toggles between Eco, Detect and Boost which allows for intelligent cleaning. Emptying the dust container is genius! just attach the vacuum to the docking station and it empties automatically into the bin container on the dock base station - very impressive! Removing and emptying the bin container is easy. CONs: It's slightly heavier than other handheld products I've used. You might find the docking station a bit bulky if you are short on storage. Because of the weight of the handheld unit, the vacuum unit does not stand upright on its own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this model free from Shark last week and have been using it daily since then. Very easy to set up ,just set up and go. Loving the auto empty feature. No more messy dust like you usually get when manually emptying, although I do find I have to empty it whilst in the midst of vacuuming after just two rooms as the dust cup is relatively small. I do have 2 cats and a German Shepherd and I have found that I have to go over the same area of carpet a few times for it to pick up all the hairs compared to the larger corded Shark Pet vacuum I have. No problems on wooden flooring though.Does a decent job there. I have had to change attachements as it hasn't been able to pick up the dirt/hair close to the edge of skirting so that was a bit disappointing. The mini power attachment worked really well on the stairs and actually picked up all the hair in one go. I have also used the mini attachment in the car and it once again worked really well. The cord for the charging dock is quite short so limits the places you could store it for charging. Overall I really like it for the convenience of the cordless feature and auto empty doc.Battery life is pretty good too.Brilliant for a quick vacuum when needed although in my case I do still have to use the larger Shark vacuum in carpeted areas to get a deep clean.Excellent for the car. Bonus my dogs not scared of this one compared to the larger models.

Wow! What a machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this vacuum free of charge from Shark and after testing this out for the past 10 days I can definitely recommend it. I have tried several cordless machines from various brands however none have come even close to the suction power on this one. It was extremely easy to set up straight out of the box without the need for instructions, even for someone like myself who is absolutely useless at things like this. I have used this all over my house and out in my car and I have yet to find anything it’s not been able to clean up. The dirt detection feature is truly revolutionary as is the edge detection, no more changing attachments to get along the skirting boards! I particularly like the mini power brush as it makes cleaning my stairs so easy which is something I have found difficult with my big upright vacuum. My favourite feature has to be the self emptying bin though, just sit it back on the base and it will clean and charge all at the same time, seeing just how much cat hair it has managed to suck up out my carpets though was definitely an eye opener! The only thing I would change is an increase in the battery life as it ran out of charge before I had the chance to clean my whole house and I only have a standard sized 2 bedroom home. If you are looking for a new cordless vacuum and you have the budget I would absolutely recommend this model and on that note I’m off to see what else I can clean!

Fantastic hoover for families with pets

If you are tired of the constant maintenance that comes with cheaper cordless models, this is an investment that truly pays back in time saved. Highly recommended for busy households and pet owners who want a "set it and forget it" cleaning routine. with its lightweight its easy to handle and comes with a good set of extra attachments. the only downside is the size of the unit and finding it a permanent home to live.
