Do not buy
The suction it’s not very good need to put on max for it to collect anything from the floor. Emptied out on the floor whilst hoovering. Battery is good due to the charging station that’s the only positive part to this hoover

Love my new Shark
I really love my new Shark. For a cordless it's very powerful and I'm finding it so much lighter and easier to push than my previous model. I only hope it lasts longer than my previous Shark.

Over priced for what it does
It’s not a bad vacuum but wouldn’t realy say it’s the best especially for the price involved On the hand vacuum would not rate it as excellent as the power is not realy the best for cleaning the car I have a wet and dry vacuum that I use on a daily basis for work and it appears to be better to clean up with than the shark

Carpet shampooer
This arrived Sunday used it Tuesday deep clean means deep clean but just be careful as mine caught a loose carpet thread and it will rip your carpet but to be fair my carpets are needing replaced as there over 10years old but I think another few cleans they could look like new again

Poor suction power.
Had this around a month now and I’m not very impressed. The design is ok, I like the self emptying feature and the switch which allows you to get under furniture but the suction power isn’t very good and the main roller isn’t very effective. Wish I’d paid the extra for a Dyson. Would not recommend.

Disappointed !
We are highly disappointed with the 'Shark PowerDetect Speed', as it completely fails to live up to its marketing claims. We bought it in normally price. After a few weeks we started look for for better head, unfortunately Shark did not have for this model better head, also get new filers was horribly hard to find. The overall suction power is weak for a vacuum in this price range, leaving behind heavier particles and only picking up light surface debris. While the motor noticeably revs up next to walls, the edge-cleaning feature is a total gimmick because the dirt stays in the exact same place despite the extra noise. The dust container is incredibly small, forcing me to constantly stop and empty it during a single cleaning session. The last thing is battery isn't last long enough even when vaccum isn't use it on full speed. I don't recommend this vacuum for people which has carpets and dogs which of course leave a lot of dirts. We've been force to buy new vacuum, older model 'Shark Power Detect', it costed cheaper but works now 100% better than 'Shark PowerDetect Speed'.

Light weight and efficient
I love this cleaner the blue light really does show dust and fluff you cant immediately see with the naked eye. I love how it automatically changes if there is extra dirt, and when you hit carpeted areas. Its much lighter than my previous shark as the battery is on the main unit and not on the cleaner itself. The auto empty is very efficient too. Its a win win for me.

Bought about a month ago and I must say I’m seriously impressed, great runtime can hoover the whole house and there’s still runtime left . This is the first shark we’ve had , we’ve always had Dyson but no more it puts the Dyson to shame and the self emptying feature is great no mess at all . Very impressed

No, you do not need to keep your finger pressed on the power button while using the vacuum. Once powered on, the vacuum will continue to operate until you switch it off. The unit also has cleaning modes that can be selected during use, including ECO, DETECT, and BOOST modes.
