Brilliant
oh my god - I got the Shark PowerDetect Speed Clean and Empty Pet Pro Cordless Vacuum just 7 days ago. I can't stop hoovering! It's AMAZING! The auto emptying function is brilliant. Brilliant suction (leaves hoover lines on the carpet 😃 ) Auto carpet/hard-floor mode, extra boost mode - which I have had no need to use. I would recommend this one over and over. It's always on 'charge' but the 'smart battery' means it's not always charging so stops once battery is full to protect the life.

Highly reccommend for pet owners
Excellent vacuum. Battery run time is more than enough to get around our 3 bed semi detatched. With 2 large dogs and 2 cats in the house, pet hair can be a nightmare, but this vacuum makes light work of it. The device itself is lightweight and vacuuming doesnt seem to be so much of a chore anymore.

My cordless Dyson had lasted many years but was slowly dying so we were looking for a replacement. Several friends recommended Shark vacuums so we gave the powerdetect a go and I was not disappointed. So much more powerful than my previous cordless with a larger capacity and longer running time. I really can’t fault it.

No power a load of pances
This is a waste of my money just about picks a few dog hairs just wish I'd had not thrown the box out being the bin day just has no power had a dyson before wish I got another one the same charging takes for ever and yo top it of my hole house has hard floors gutted

Great lightweight vacuum
Wanted a lightweight Shark as my corded Shark was worn out! This little vacuum is super light, whizz’s around well with a good battery life. The charging station is bigger than I expected from the images so be mindful of that if space is an issue.

No, you do not need to keep your finger pressed on the power button while using the vacuum. Once powered on, the vacuum will continue to operate until you switch it off. The unit also has cleaning modes that can be selected during use, including ECO, DETECT, and BOOST modes.

A full charge takes approximately 6 hours. To charge your vacuum, simply place it on the Auto-Empty Dock, and the battery LEDs will pulse to show charging is in progress. It's safe to leave the vacuum on the dock when not in use, so it's always ready for your next clean.
