Shark PowerDetect Speed Pet Pro Auto Empty Cordless Vacuum

Good vacuum cleaner. A little overpriced

Pros of this vacuum- Impressed with the power detect technology on hard floors as it shows up any dirt and it’s good at picking it up. Nice features like able to get under furniture. A little bit fiddly to stand the vacuum when in use but I appreciate something. Anti tangle seems to work well however we had a thin curly strio of cardboard it sucked up that got stuck in the head and had to be removed. Love that it clears itself when put on the stand. I like it has a crevice tool. The weight of it is good and easy to manoeuvre around. Cons: I think for the price the battery life on boost could be improved as when I tried on boost it didn’t last 10 mins. Edge technology is ok but again not brilliant as did not pick up straight away. Only had it two weeks but overall it’s one of the best vacuums I have had. I think for the price it’s a tad expensive but I bought it as a treat to myself. I feel it could do with a little bit more power on it but I can’t complain if it is picking the rubbish up. I think that’s a psychological thing that in auto mode it doesn’t sound as powerful on a hard floor as opposed to when it is on carpet, but that could be a good thing to people.

Toxic anti odour system

Very disappointed in the highly toxic anti odour system. The hoover works great, but I wouldn’t have bought it had I known about dangerous chemicals that come with it! I don’t understand the desire people have for masking natural smells with chemicals that are so harmful to themselves, their animals and the environment. I like the emptying system but the vacuum is a bit heavy.

Love it but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had it for few weeks now and WOW. What a vacuum. 4 PowerDetect Technology leaves no dirt behind, it picks up everything. On auto mode the suction adjusts itself between hard floor and carpet, round the edges and corners. I have 2 flights of stairs and 2 🐕 . Vacuuming was a chore, not anymore. Since getting this vacuum i actually like doing it as it doesn't take long. Another useful feature - it charges and empties itself at the same time. I was the only person to empty the vac, to the point it was getting blocked. Now I don't have to worry about it for over a month. There is 1 thing im not happy about. The filter gets dirty in no time. Ive gone through a fair few vacuums (my partner has OCD) and never have i seen filter getting dirty in such a short space of time.

It just works!

I have a double coated doggo whose hair is always everywhere! Floor, air and just generally floating around. This vacuum picks up what my previous one just could not! The auto adjust for levels of dirtiness is just incredible and I am so pleased with this.

Light and high suction vaccum

I recently started using Shark PowerDetect Speed Clean and Empty Pet Pro. I had Dyson for many years. I am genuinely impressed with its performance. It’s incredibly lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around the house and use on different floors. The battery life is very good and lasts long enough to clean my entire home without needing to recharge. The suction power is absolutely brilliant. I have kids, so the house gets messy quickly, but this vacuum makes cleaning so much easier. It picks up even the smallest particles, especially hair, which is a huge plus. One of my favourite features is the auto-empty function. I used to hate emptying the vacuum manually, but this has made the whole process effortless and much more hygienic. Overall, the house feels much cleaner after using it. The motor is powerful, and the build quality and materials feel very high-end. I would definitely say it’s worth the investment as makes your house feel clean and hygienic.

Ergonomically designed, handsome vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really outstanding suction which varies according to level of dirt detected. Really quite impressive. I used it to vacuum clean the inside of the car for starters as it is cordless, lightweight and has great set of attachments; which also fit neatly onto the base of the unit. The performance is exceptional. I have only given it 4 stars as it is hard to find a place to keep it where it can charge, be out of sight and yet still be easily accessible. It is ergonomically designed with a nice holding and easy to use. Assembly from the box was straightforward.

Awesome Hoover

Firstly the hoover was packed extremely well. Once the hoover was fully charged I used it in the hallway on carpet & it still picked up dust and debris even though the carpet was hoovered the day before by another famous brand, which was quite surprising to me. I found the hoover very easy to use & light weight. The sensor works very well deciding on the type of flooring it's hoovering, it will make it's own adjustments. It comes with handy crevice tools. One feature I love is that it can collapse to go under furniture. I would definitely recommend this hoover to everyone.

Genuinely the best vacuum I've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can honestly say this is the best vacuum I’ve ever had. I previously owned another well known big brand, and compared to this, it was awful! The self emptying feature is a total game changer ,so convenient and mess free. I also love how easy it is to clean under furniture thanks to the flexible wand. It gets into places my old vacuum never could. It’s very lightweight, easy to hold, and actually enjoyable to use… which I never thought I’d say about a hoover! It genuinely makes you want to clean. Most importantly, the results are incredible. My carpets look spotless. I thought they were clean before, but the amount of dirt and hair this picked up was shocking and such a noticeable difference. Highly impressed and would absolutely recommend!

Amazing vac

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been two weeks since the product arrived, and I have used it every day since then. First of all, the product is of excellent quality, with a sleek design and lightweight construction that makes it easy to handle. It looks perfect in my home decor. In terms of performance, it detects different types of flooring—such as carpet, wood, and tile—as I have a combination of these surfaces in my house. I can see the switch between them clearly. However, regarding suction power, I prefer using it in full mode because the auto-detect mode wasn't as effective. When set to full suction mode, the battery lasted quite a long time, which is a significant plus for me. My favorite feature is the Auto-Empty charging dock along with the beam, which helps illuminate areas that are hard to see on my wood floors, especially where dust tends to accumulate. I also love that the device can bend, making it easy to reach underneath my sofa; combined with the beam, I can ensure my floors are thoroughly cleaned without moving the furniture. Additionally, I want to mention that the motorized handheld tool and crevice duster are excellent attachments for cleaning sofas and stairs efficiently. Overall, it's an excellent addition to any busy household, with one product keeping the entire house clean. The only issue I had was with the auto-detect suction power, and the duct tends to get blocked by fiber balls from the carpet, which requires manual cleaning by opening it up. Regarding suction, you can select and adjust it to your preference.
