Excellent for pet hair
I bought this vax a few weeks ago and I am really impressed with the suction of it especially given the price. I’ve had several other branded hoovers but I have dogs and this is by far the best at picking up the dogs hair. One small niggle is the pet attachment comes away from the hose sometimes when I am hoovering- it doesn’t seem to fit tightly enough, but given the standard of the rest of the vax it still warrants 5 stars.

Replace my old hoover which was also a Vax with this one and i can say it's a great hoover. Vax has always been a trusted brand to go to for a new hoover and I wouldn't buy anything else. I've owned dysons in the past and think Vax are so much more better value for money and do a better job

It should be fairly easy to empty the Vax Air Lift Steerable Max Pet Corded Upright Vacuum Cleaner, you just need to do the following:
1. Press the dirt container release buttons located the side of the carry handle.
2. Pull and remove the dirt container off the vacuum cleaner.
3. Hold the dirt container over a bin, press the dirt release button to open and allow the dirt to fall out.
