About this product
This Argos Home Miami dining set gives you flexible seating that grows with your plans. It's an extendable table with a warm oak-effect finish and four padded faux leather chairs, ideal for everyday meals and those times when a few extra people turn up. The table expands from four seats to six, you just pull the ends apart and slot in the centre leaf. The scratch-resistant top handles family life with ease, and the easy-clean surface sorts spills quickly. The chairs have solid wood frames and supportive midback designs with comfortable padded seats.
The extension mechanism works smoothly, the extra leaf stores underneath until you need it. Faux leather seats wipe clean after messy meals. Each chair supports up to 110kg and the solid wood keeps everything stable. It's part of the Miami collection, so you can match it with other pieces if you want. Complex for a simple assemble dining table. The four legs doesnt need to be this way of fitting. Also the screw holes for the table doesnt align with metal frame.

Lovely table
Bought this table which is lovely only problem was it came in all single bits which was a bit difficult to put together following instructions. I also bought the chocolate brown chairs as a set with the table which im not too sure about as they seem very low as in the height of the table seems too high for the size of the table maybe its just me as im only small (5ft) i shall persevere and use a cushion especially when grandchildren visit

Lovely set
I love the table only marked it down cause I found it quite difficult to put together. Saying that I’m not the best at DIY and my husband would normally do these things but he’s unwell so just supervised and advised me. I would never have been able to do it from the instructions alone. Got there anyway but I would recommend a drill to tighten everything at the end

Disappointing
I bought this to replace Miami extending table and six chairs as the faux leather was peeling off the chairs and I no longer need such a big table. I expected this set to be the same quality as the previous one, what a disappointment. The table was so hard to put together and looks cheap, not a patch on the old one. The chairs are ok, it remains to be seen how long the covering lasts before it starts to peel off.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Argos Home Miami Oak Dining Table & 4 Charcoal Chairs.
This complies with EN 13501 and has a fire resistance rating of D-s2,d0.
Classification D-s2,d0 according to EN 13501-1 means that the material has moderate flammability (D), moderate smoke emission (s2) and does not emit burning droplets (d0). I can advise the following on the Home Miami Oak Effect Extending Table & 4 Black Chairs:
Oak is a lot darker than beech wood, this is just oak in colour so isn't a light or dark variant. Product may differ slightly from the colour shown on the illustration as these don't represent the true colour of the product. Photo 8/12 is the closest to what you will receive, however as it's solid wood the tones may change slightly.
